I purchased from Lowes to replace our aged frig during a home kitchen upgrade project. It was on sale and looked better than all the other higher priced. I didnt think i needed a frig with a tv on the door. It says it connects to wifi but i have not figured that out and gave up. The door in a door works great. Its quiet and makes ice well. The black fingerprint resistant finish works well. I would give it a 5 except the instuctions on wifi connection are not clear and LG support tried to connect me with IT. They dropped the call and didnt call back. I just gave up. Im not going to change the temp settings from my phone anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator in November. In February it quit cooling. Called LG and it took till May to get someone to come to our home. They put a new fan on and it and it froze everything in the refrigerator. Called and they said to turn it down from recommended settings. Still was freezing everything set at 2 for freezer and 40 for refrigerator. Then it went back to 60 degrees in refrigerator. We are now waiting for them to send someone out again. It has been 3 weeks and still no one has come out. Not a good warranty. Luckily we have an extra refrigerator to keep our food in.

Increase is stars will depend on service
Bought LG fridge 3 years ago. 24 hours ago, freezer wasn’t at temp. Today fridge and freezer are at 50 degrees. Call into service, as I purchased extended warranty, scheduled for Monday 9/23. 7 days for service, I’m sure the unit will be at room temp by then. Lost all freezer food and most fridge food. If this repaired or replaced I will update. However, at this point I would advise not to purchase I should have gotten more than 3 years from this appliance. The appliance was placed as specified and was not moved more than a few inches, to allow cleaning behind. It failed on its own.

Great overall fridge!
I bought this refrigerator two weeks ago and it has been an amazing buy! The fridge is super quiet and even when the ice maker comes on it doesn’t make too much noise. The space is huge inside to fit all different sizes of food/dishes! Also the freezer section is super deep and can keep a month’s supply of groceries!! Only slight issue that I have is getting used to pressing the button for access to the door in door section and also an extra push to close it. That needs a bit of getting used to and can be a little annoying when in a hurry. But the good features far surpass the negatives- and make this a must buy fridge for any family!

We love, love, love our new LG fridge!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We shopped & researched before deciding on an LG French Door. There were a few features that really sold us. First, was the icemaker being in the door. With it being in the door opened up the space on the top shelf. Second, was the "door in a door" feature which offers access to items you use alot. Third was the feature to make "double ice". There are so many things we love about this fridge! Its quiet. Well designed. Has nice LED lighting. Love the smaller ice cube size. This is our second LG fridge & we are very satisfied. We had our other one 10+ years before moving & never had any problems with it.

Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This beautiful fridge provides tons of room in both the cool and frozen sections. Shelves and drawers make it easy to organize food. The door-in-door feature is very convenient. I keep all my snacks in the outer door so I don't have to open the entire fridge to retrieve a drink or other snack. I love the matte steel finish..it is beautiful as well as easy to care for. The freezer holds loads of frozen food and is easy to access. The water/ice dispenser is absolutely the best, dispensing water, cubes and crushed ice. I can't think of any negatives.......

French door and ice despensor don't work that well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this refrigerator only 3 weeks. I like the looks of the black SS and it repels fingerprints very well, I my opinion you have to be too meticulous when dispensing ice so it doesn't miss the glass. The other big issue is If opening both doors you have to be careful that the center swivel seal plate, attached to the left side door, is perpendicular to the door face. Sometimes mine will not be perpendicular and hits the right side door when closing which could potentially break the center plate our dent the door if not careful. Other than these 2 issues the refrigerator work just fine.

It WILL break and you will pay.
This fridge, like most of LG's appliances, will break after only a few years of use. You will call LG and spend months working with their horrible support team to try to schedule a time for a tech to come out. Which will inevitably be cancelled. After that, they will tell you the fridge is out of warranty and you will pay out of pocket for a fix. Skip the headache and just find a different brand. I'd avoid Samsung too. Both brands are overpriced junk.
