Be careful!
Be careful buying this product or any other of this package. We bought it and within a year we had a rust spot develop on the front. We didn’t buy an extended warranty and just missed the manufacturer warranty so basically we would have to eat the money for a
New door. Within a few months after that we noticed the bottom of the door was also rusting. Besides that we bought the stove from the same Package and it’s full of dents already and we have had to have it serviced 3 times in less then 1 year. Our last combo was 10 years old and never had a dent or rust!!! Never buying whirlpool again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Excellent Product-Especially for Families!
The fingerprint resistant color coating really prevents smudges and stains. I have two children and I haven’t had to clean off fingerprints in a month! The fridge is spacious and the ice machine works flawlessly. It’s quiet and beautiful.
Tons of room in the freezer. Little baby hands cannot open the bottom freezer drawer or reach items in the fridge. However, my 4 year old can easily get water from it. No gap under the fridge so hot wheels can’t get lost under it.
I ordered on a Saturday afternoon and got delivery the next day. Awesome customer service. Great product!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The ice maker is junk
We've owned one of these for five years. The refrigerator works fine, no problems except for the ice maker. It its a poor design, there isn't enough room for the cubes to dump. They will hang up and suddenly you're out of ice because the cubes are hung. there's not a week goes by that we don't have to pull the ice maker out to unjam it. The best advice I can give someone is too store some ice in a gallon ziplock bag so when it hangs up, you'll have some. I hope whoever engineered this is now working for K-Mart.
One other bad design is the fact that both doors must be open to pull the drawers out.....you would have thought someone would have said there's a better way.

Icemaker design flaw
The icemaker arm gets ice stuck under it when full. Then, as we use ice it a few cubes stay stuck under the arm. Eventually we run out of ice. Has happened twice in past 20 days of ownership. Contacted whirlpool and they said to just visually check that ice isn't getting stuck. Would be an ok answer if the arm was easily visible but the icemaker and tray are completely shrouded. Not going to be practical to remember to check it daily. Oh well. Debating on returning but we bought the whole matching kitchen set. Dishwasher stove and microwave. Hopefully this will help others.

It's big, but it's beautiful
We bought this to replace our old fridge. This one is bigger, and it has more storage. I like that the shelves are easily removable for cleaning. The ice maker and water dispenser are nice as we did not have these with our previous fridge. We do feel this unit is a bit noisy. It makes loud "thuds" as the ice is dropping into the reservoir. Also, it makes random "knocking" noises for seemingly no reason. At first we thought someone was at the door. All and all we like this fridge. We just wish it was quieter.

Ruining Food During a Quarantine
Just bought a new house and moved in 3 weeks ago with a brand new Whirlpool Fridge, Then during a time when we stocked up on food to quarantine during a global pandemic, my food and vegetables and juices are all frozen in the fridge, even with the setting at 41 degrees. I don't understand and I've never seen this happen to a new fridge but this is my first experience with Whirlpool. And I tried to reach a customer service and they are closed. this is so sad when food at this time is hard to come by also so this stress isn't easy to deal with. I will wait hopeful that whirlpool will reach out to get this fixed for me asap but i don't know if they will.......

Really like it at first!
Really like it at first!, We bought this fridge on 9/07/2019 everything seemed to be working fine about 2/12 weeks later the fridge started my a rattling, we’re having them pick this one up on Friday 10//3 also noticed on Monday the fridge is always running and the outside panel shows that the fridge temperature should be 38 inside temperature is 28 degrees! I am glad we decided to have this one pick up, we’re having it replaced with a GE, I am hopeful I guess! This will be our 3rd refrigerator in less than a month, our first one was a LG after 12 hours being plugged in a code was flashing on the outside display, after calling the warranty place they said it has a bad motor! It a shame if you ask me, refrigerator cost a lot of money$$$$ [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
