Great Features
I bought this last week when Rona had a promotion. It was delivered yesterday. The stainless steel panel looked very beautiful. One thing is incredibly surprised me. It is very very very QUIET. I put a ear on the panel, the voice level sounds less than a mosquito. it is really incredible. I put a thermometer in the fridge and freezer, as default setup, 4C in the fridge, -19 in the freezer. I do like it.

Good for the sale price
I just had this delivered and I am so torn about whether it was the right purchase.
Positives first:
Appearance - Looks great. A stainless steel bottom freezer, for the price of a pretty basic black or white top freezer. I worried that at this price the stainless would look cheaper than other brands, but I don't see any difference. It looks great. Being stainless, of course it smudges a little, but it cleans up way better/easier than I thought. Very happy with the appearance. I would've guessed it was double the price based on the exterior appearance.
Counter depth: Looks great in my kitchen. Sticks out about 3 inches less than my old fridge, and that small difference makes the room look surprisingly bigger and more open. So I DEFINITELY prefer counter depth to a deeper fridge. I wondered if I would miss the depth inside, and I don't at all! Which leads me to...
Overall storage space: The Hisense technically has slightly less cubic feet of space than our old fridge (17ish vs 18ish) but somehow we took all the food from the old, completely full fridge, put it in the new fridge... and there is room to spare on each shelf! If you're going from an 18 or 19 cu ft top freezer, and are worried that it won't be enough space, don't worry. It somehow holds more. How does it manage to fit so much more with less cubic feet? No clue. But it does.
Energy Use: Significantly lower than our old fridge.
Interior: Overall positive. A few different height options for shelves. I would like more flexibility of configuration, and a deli drawer, but I don't know how much I'll miss that once I figure out how to best arrange this fridge. At the price point, though, it has as much or more than I expected and I feel like this is still a winning fridge.
Controls: Simple, clear, easily visible and accessible. Electronic. With a crisp beep and visible light change when you press a button, so you know it registered. Simple, but leaps and bounds ahead of my old fridge's cheap plastic dials, so it's a positive for me.
Oh and the fast chill option sounds good, too. I'm not sure how much better it is, I pressed it hours ago and don't notice any exceptionally fast cooling happening, but I'm sure it must be.
The bad:
LED light: Kind of an ugly, cheap look to this particular led hue. Dim, dull blue-ish. My old fridge was better lit, and it just used a small regular incandescent bulb. Yay for energy savings though, I guess.
Crisper drawer: Design fail. I'm surprised this made it to market designed like this because the drawer can't open fully when the fridge door is open 90°. Or just over 90 degrees. You have to have it WAY open, much wider than one normally opens a fridge, in order to open the crisper drawer fully. If the plastic on the lowest door shelf or the drawer side was made slightly differently with a small notch or an angle, it would work and they wouldn't impact. But for whatever reason, the (only) drawer is only partly functional.
Freezer sliding drawers: overall these are ok, the space is good, but the door smacks into the top shelf as you open it. The way the plastic surfaces bonk together is loud and almost seems likely to damage something over the years. Not sure why there isn't some simple pad or rubber to soften the impact, but it feels/sounds a little cheap and clunky. With only 1 year warranty, and pieces of rigid plastic impacting on multiple spots on this fridge regularly, it seems we're taking a bit of a risk. Hopefully Hisense made sure this fridge functions well for at least a few years of reasonable use.
Overall I think I would recommend this fridge.

Bought As Second Fridge
While we are waiting for our appliances to come in for our new home we bought thi one to use and then it will be our bar fridge. I don't like that it doesn't have a split upeer shelf for tall bottles ect. I also like 3 drawers, 1 for veggies, 1 for fruit and 1 for cheese, bacon, lunch meat, this fridge only has 2, an ice maker would have been nice also, keeps things too cold and I have it set on lowest it will go, you maybe ask why we bought it.... it was the only fridge available to us at the time, so better than no fridge... will probably be fine as a beer fridge
