No it is definitely not fingerprint proof. It looks really great when it’s cleaned up though.

Main control panel fails quickly...buy other brand
Shortly after a year of owning this LG Fridge, it started to show 6&7 illuminated on the freezer side of the controls, with nothing on the fridge, and while the fridge sounded like it was working, and the light comes on - everything is gettin' warm & thawed!
A power reset (we do the breaker, rather than move the fridge....rather than kill ourselves we'd rather reset clocks - lesser of two evils...Life's NOT good).
Last night, I spent all night resetting the thing. There's no rhyme or reason to it failing, and last night it failed for good - it would work for less than five minutes and then ...the dreaded 6&7.
Guess I'm throwing out hundreds in groceries AND buying a new fridge. Thanks, LG.
DEFINITELY DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE.

tHIS UNIT IS QUIET, LOTS OF SPACE & FUNCTIONAL FRZ
The freezer with full plastic shelves & not wired is very functional and easy to store and access all you want at every level of freezer. It is quiet. The fridge has lots of shelves and pockets like under door unit. Each shelf allows you readjust as we go from feeding two to 15. The LED lite really shows every storage space as you need to.
The one door VS French door was we have a wall intruding our space but with one larger door will open easily into a door opening.
We will not hook up the ice maker for many reasons other people have had ongoing problems with leaks, etc. - we decided not to.

New fridge inferior plastic finish
The fridge works fine and is nice and quiet. I wish I had bought one with split shelves, since all of the medium/tall stuff doesn't all fit in the door. However, we have had the fridge for only 6 mos and the finish on the freezer door around the handle is badly damaged from normal use. I tried to clean it with a soft cloth and dish soap (as per manual), but it didn't improve at all. I think the "stain" is actually the plastic finish worn off after 6 months. Fridge looks 10 years old.

Very Pleased
Working great, nice and quiet. Keeps everything consistently cold in the fridge (not like my old one where stuff in back sometimes froze) and frozen in the freeze. Love the bottom freezer - alot of room.
One small thing missing - somewhere for ice cube trays. We specifically did not want a fridge with water and ice maker. Have to be careful when opening/closing is cubes not frozen yet. Like a said a small thing, not a deal breaker by any means.

GREAT FEATURES
I have had my frig for at least a year and I love it. I had really wanted one with the freezer on the bottom and I am so glad I went with this model. The freezer space is large, practical and easy to access. The frig space and layout is as well. It was a great choice. Thanks LG!

Don’t waste your money on this fridge.
I bought this fridge two and a half years ago. After the first 15 months the compressor needed to be replaced. After another 14 months, the compressor has crapped out again! I also tried the smart diagnosis....I was told my fridge “wasn’t cooling”. What a joke, I will never buy LG again.

Huge interior for a small space
I bought this a month ago and absolutely love it. Huge interior with bright lighting. I was concerned that I would loose capacity for larger freezer space. There is a lot of room for both. Only complaint is the continual wiping of fingerprints off of the door

why it is running a lot
