Nice
This model is similar to the Amana I have had for the past 15 years. The only differences are that there is no longer an individual shelf in the freezer for ice cube trays so that means the trays have to lay flat in a drawer and take up much needed space. Also the dividers that are pre-installed for the freezer drawers are very difficult to remove and reset for individual likes/needs. Would have preferred this model to be more like the last one in appearance (not crazy bout the clunky door handles) and functionality. But hey, it is new and it works, so that is what is really important, right? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Loving the Pull-Out Drawer Freezer
My husband (who's a foot taller than me) has been advocating for a bottom freezer refrigerator for a few years, and I finally gave in when we needed to upgrade. We are very pleased with the pull out freezer drawer - it is very easy to open and close, and the capacity is impressive! The organization of the drawer and shelf allows a surprising amount of freezer storage area. With the fridge, there is a lot of flexibility in the shelf/bin configuration possibilities. Having a slight lip on the shelves to contain spills is another practical feature. Overall, we are happy with our investment. Past history tells us we can depend on the Amana name.

I love it!
I purchased my refrigerator in May and have waited to review it after using it for awhile. I love the bottom freezer, so easy on my back. I would definitely give this refrigerator 5 stars except that the drawers are definitely smaller than my old refrigerator and I can't get everything in them. Also I found the door shelves are smaller, too. I find that the large flat area at the bottom of the refrigerator section is great for temporarily sitting items when I have to re-arrange or get something from the back of a shelf. I did adjust the freezer to a colder number and my ice cream and cubes are perfect. It's easy to find items in the freezer as well.

bottom freezer refrigerator
Only bottom freezer fridge we could find in that size to fit in our space. It is the exact same model we had before...only lasted 7 years. This one is smaller on the inside, the vegetable crisper drawers do not seem to fit properly and the two top shelves don't fit properly. I had to force them in so I could have them both at the same height. There is no shelf in the freezer to put ice cube trays like we had in the other one so you have to put the trays in the basket and be careful when you close the drawer so the water does not splash.

Why did I wait so long?
This replaced a 1980's top freezer. First, my electric use per day is 1/2 the units. Second, no twisting , no hidden items - things are all within reach and visible. Regular not LED bulbs but bright
I use a walker and the little tilted ledge in refrigerator is perfect to place things while I arrange and sort things.
The freezer is a little trickier since I was so excited I over bought and the shelves jammed but I've learned.
I use a refrigerator thermometer and it stays ,after some adjusting, at a steady 38 degrees.
I don't think the motor runs more than the old machine did but it sounds weird, not a melodic sound . Notice it more because of that. Have had for 6 months.

The perfect refrigerator-freezer
I cannot imagine a more perfect refrigerator-freezer appliance for our kitchen. Owing to space limitations, we needed capacity but could not opt for extensive height or width. The 29-inch wide bottom-freezer refrigerator fit the bill with perfection. Just the right specifications and yet much more capacity than the one it replaced. Great ice-maker too. Perhaps the best part, though it is hard to say any aspect was better than any other, is the door, which can accommodate much more than we have ever experienced before, especially wine bottles but also condiments, beers, colas, you name it. We couldn't be more delighted. Thank you, Amana! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

29-inch Wide Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator with EasyFreezer™
I realize after that I had purchase this refrigerator I should of looked at wide not deep. The holders on the door should be clear or a clear front so you can see inside and look at labels on the jars. It was listed as a 19 cubic but it feels like at times a 17. The door takes more room inside of the refrigerator which I bet you that is less then 17 cubic feet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

BUYER'S REMORSE
I've been living with this thing for about a month. Freezer on the bottom is so low, I have difficulty getting into it and I find I need my freezer several times a day. The refrigerator is comfortable with the exceptionof the top shelf, which I can barely reach and as a result is practically empty. The rest of the shelves are shallow, because the shelves on the door or so deep. I'm afraid to fill the door shelves for fear they will break. As a matter of fact I was warned against putting soda bottles on the door for this reason. This is not a refrigerator for an older, single woman!
