GOT THIS GRASS AND LEAF COLLECTER,TO GO ON THE BACK OF MY NEW BOLANS TRACTER LAWNMOWER,WHEN WE MOVED TO NEW HOUSE IN THE DFW AREA,WITH .75 ACRE YARD,IT WORKS WELL AND COLLECTS VERY WELL,ONLY DOES NOT COLLECT WET LEAFS,SO MAKE SURE THE LEAFS ARE CRISPY DRY,AND I DO LIKE THIS PRODUCT.

Expensive, but best way to manage grass clippings
This product is a bit over priced at $299, but it is built well and does the job. I can't seem to cut the grass and bag at the same time without the chute clogging. The instructions tell you to basically cut the grass twice, once at a high level and once at the height you want. The only way I found to effectively bag the clippings was to cut the grass at the height you want, then come back and bag everything. It's kind of stupid to do everything twice, but it is very effective.

Very good product
Very easy to mount. Everything fit like it was made to. Instructions were very clear. If you have a MTD made tractor and need a bagger, this is the one to get.

Clogged mess
This product was a little time-consuming to put together initially, but it isn't difficult to attach/detach after that. Getting the grass clippings out of the bags and into trash bags is also very easy. However, the main problem is that it clogs way to easily. I have to stop the mower and unclog it at least 4 times every time I use it. Overall, I suppose it saves time compared to raking, but it is just a pain to have to stop and unclog it. I would still recommend it, but only with a warning about the clogging issue.

Does the job
I got this for my 2007 42" Troy Bilt. I put it together in about 45 minutes. I needed to drill a new hole in the tube where the rubber strap attaches it to the deck (there was a dimple where I needed to drill the hole, so it appears the factory hole is for a 36" deck and you just drill out the dimple for a 42" deck). The directions were pretty clear, I just needed to read them twice and had no problems. You need to know your tractor model because there are extra steps for 700 series tractors (the instructions tell you how to find your model).
The grass was a little wet when I mowed and I had no problems with clogged tubes or anything. I did notice a few things while mowing:
1. You need to reach back and poke the bag to see when they are full, and if you wait too long, when you lift the lid to empty the bags, the cover area is FULL of grass and is messy to empty. But the bags are very easy to empty, they have a handle on the bottom that helps out.
2. The weight of the tube caused the right side of my mower deck to droop a little, so it cut a bit unevenly between the two blades.
3. There are three tubes, the one that attaches to the deck, a short expansion tube, and the one that goes into the bagger. The weight of all that caused the area where they all come together to sag a little, so I just had to reach over every now and then and pull it back in.
4. When the bags fill, it can make the mower heavier on one side (the left bag fills first then overflows to the other bag), so you need to be careful if mowing on uneven ground. It also makes the mower back-heavy.
Overall, I would recommend this. It is a bit pricey for what you get, but my lawn is 1/2 acre and this SURE beats raking. Time will tell how well this holds up, but it seems to be fairly well made.

Very good buy on-line
Could not buy it in the STORE. If you order it through the STORE, it would cost you dearly. So, I ordered on-line and it was delivered to my door. The Bagger was easy to put together, with the Owner Manual in hand to guide you along the way.

Big improvement in leaf clean-up
This product isn't perfect but it has made my life a lot better with regards to leaf clean-up. I have a half acre, with a lot of oak trees and what used to take almost all day now is reduced about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
It picks up about 90 t0 95% of the leaves on each pass by. There is some blow by on each side ( more on the left than the right) but this has still made the job much easier than using a stand alone powered lawn vacuum.

Good product.
Installation of the bagger was easy. It fit the mower as advertised. The quality of the parts are pretty good. I fell it will last several years before replacement parts are needed. The mower also collected grass and leaves pretty well with its regular blades. If they were to get replaced with blades that had solid fins, it might vacuum the yard even more. But it does a good job now.

INSTALLED THIS ON MY TROY BUILT MOWER... (not that hard with their instructions) CUT MY 1 ACRE YARD... (did a great job on grass and leaves) IT WORKED AS IT SHOULD...(not sure what negative reviews are about) VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE...(let the leaves fall !!) WISH I HAD GOT THIS YEARS AGO

Bagger for '07 Troy-Bilt 42" mower
Ordered this produce relying on description "Fits 38" and 42" Troy-Bilt and MTD lawn tractors, 2009 and prior"
to fit my 2007 42" Troy-Bilt mower. My manual stated the kit was a p/n OEM-190-180. This product was p/n OEM-190-180A. Rear bagger and mount fit flawlessly in less than an hour but the discharge chute elbow, p/n 731-04153A, was another matter. Opening on chute would not mate up with outlet on mower deck. Big gaps on one side or other of chute depending on how I tried to mount it. Now I know what the 'A' in the part number was for. Finally had to 'modify' the chute with a hand saw and a heat gun to fill in some of the gaps. First bump I hit and the chute slid off and grass flew all over. I had to drill and install three machine screws on the top of the chute where it mated to deck to prevent it from falling off. Next try and everything worked pretty good. After a few passes the gaps were full of grass and it stopped blowing grass out. The remainder of grass went into bagger. Pretty good product and easy to install other than the 2+ hours of modifications needed.

good grass catcher
This catcher was OK to put together. All the parts were there and it fit together fairly easy. There was a small amount of difficulty putting the part onto the side discharge area, but finally got it on there and it fits correctly. Seems a little pricey for a bunch of plastic, but it is what it is.
The bagger itself collects the grass efficiently, filling one bin and then the other.
I would recommend this bagger.

Good buy
It was easy to assemble and came with clear instructions. The hardest part of assembly was getting the rubber strape on the ball. I am happy I bought this product, although the cost is high it's worth it not having to rack leaves anymore. Chute gets clogged easy if leaves are wet or grass is tall. I would recommend this product if you have a large yard with trees.

OEM 190180A Fits Huskee Lawn Tractor
Glad Lowe's Offers this bagger After much research checking my owners manual this part number OEM 190180A fits my 2013 Huskee Lawn Tractor as well as MTD, Sears , and other lawn tractors it is made by "Arnold" I will post more once I have used product and will ad pictures

easy to put together....excellent instructions. Chute did not properly fit, had to call customer service for a replacement. It too did not fit tight. Would not recommend this brand. spend a few dollars more get a reliable john deere or something comp

Too much money.
Did not stay on. Tubes slipped and I had a pro put it on and it still did not fit right and the tubes came off.
