Perfect- Cleans well, water based
Used to clean aftermath of a small engine oil leak on a Cosworth engine and Hewland FTR sequential gearbox in a Fromula 3 car. Spraying on a harsh cleaner then hitting it with the garden hose wasn't an option. What I liked about the WD-40 Engine Degreaser was:
1. Water based, I could spray, allow to work for a few minutes and use the ShopVac to remove liquid residue.
2. Spray stream to point and shoot at hard to reach nooks and crannies.
3. A light, non-objectionable smell. No strong smell like some engine cleaners.
4. No residue.
5. Easy to wipe away what I didn't vacuum up.
6. Cleaned well.
7. Doesn't damage aluminum or carbon fiber.
Met my needs perfectly, thank you WD-40 for a well-engineered product.

Amazingly great and no smell like others
I recently bought an older car and it had years of oil spills, dirt and grime. I looked on line and found a few products that are petroleum based, smells bad and damages hoses. I trust WD-40 lubricant so I thought I would try the Engine Degreaser. AMAZING results in 5minutes!! You could eat off this engine now! If you wish. Thanks WD-40

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The WD-40 Specialist Machine & Engine Degreaser is definitely worth the money. It works better than just regular WD-40. I was very impressed how it foamed you and you could rinse off the grease so well. I was rebuilding a 6.0 diesel motor and it was extremely dirty. I sprayed the motor down. It cleaned it up nicely allowing me to work on it and leave it looking better than it was before. I also wiped it off in some areas. It worked very efficiently and was easy to clean it up. I highly recommend everyone have some WD-40 Specialist Machine & Engine Degreaser when working on vehicles or other motors.

Clean Great!
I was rebuilding a Honda ATV engine and want to clean the mud stained crank case before I reassembled it. The product sprays on easy and holds to the metal until you remove it. I let it soak and used a stainless wire brush on the alumnium case and it make it look brand new!

Perfect for the DIY’er
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your like me always finding a project you need to pick up a can of this. During the winter months I usually clean and repair my outdoor summer equipment. As you can imagine, this equipment gets used often and needs up keep. I used the engine degreaser on these projects. The product works well, cuts through even the grimmest oil and grease with ease. It sprays from the can with good force and I bet you can reach at least a couple feet with it. The product foams up and stays in place to do it’s work. when it’s time for clean up, use water or even rag. This is a must have.

Excellent degreaser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This WD-40 Specialist Machine & Engine Degreaser does an excellent job at removing residue and grease build up on a variety of things. I used it to remove some left over oil residue on my car’s engine from when there was a minor oil leak. I sprayed it on, let it sit for a minute or two, then wiped it off. It did an excellent job at removing all the residue and grease and left my engine looking like it was brand new. I like how it doesn’t have a strong smell, and didn’t leave behind any sort of residue when wiping it off. I highly recommend this degreaser for anyone looking to remove grime and residues quickly and safely.

Perfect!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect spray !!! For everything and anything you can imagine ! was shocked at how much I liked the degreaser. I didn't expect much because I've used everything from cheap purple degreaser to crazy expensive Optimum products. I've always been irritated by the slimy feel of most degreasers. They usually leave a resisdue on tools and projects that I have to remove with brake cleaner or alcohol. The WD-40 Degreaser doesn't seem to have that problem. It isn't as strong as some of the other degreasers but it's plenty strong enough for my garage chores.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using WD-40 Specialist Machine & Engine Degreaser can help your equipment last longer and stay looking like new by keeping it clean and running smoothly. It's easy to spray out of the can and it goes a good distance so you can get all of the areas you need. Even the harder to reach ones since it has a stream that goes up to five feet (I even tested this out and it's true). I like how quickly it cleans up the grease and grime so I can keep my stuff clean and in good working order. It does have some odor so be sure you use in a ventilated area.
