So far tough enough, but clay dirt sticks
Three piece construction with metal rod in a wood handle with spade welded on. It was used as a small shovel on unbroken and compacted dirt without breaking or bending yet. Clay dirt can stick to the blade. Did not see any measuring marks on it. Bring a brick to slam the blade down on to remove the dirt, with an easy to clean handle. Simple, cheap and effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This garden tool is for someone who is planting is very soft dirt. The handle is uncomfortable. The handle is pressed to the spade not pined. And its turned 90 degrees to the spade. Cannot hang it on the wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trowel is a perfect size to handle small jobs in the garden. It is sturdy, a great weight, and I love the smooth wood handle. Compared to other spades, this one has enough weight to be able to dig with greater ease than lighter weight tools can provide. It does not bend easily when digging in a hard soil. My new favoite trowel!

Very well built trowel
The trowel is very well built and has a nice edge. It worked well for planting seeds and transferring potted plants to a ground garden. Feels like it will hold up well.

Quality trowel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems to be a very well made and sturdy trowel. It came in very handy (no pun intended) when I had to replace a water pressure reducing valve and had to carefully dig the old one out of the mud with a trowel instead of a large shovel so I wouldn’t damage the PVC pipe. This trowel made quick and efficient work of the dirt and I had the water pipe freed in no time. As simple as it looks, it is very comfortable to hold and this wooden handle should last a long time. My previous trowel had a soft plastic/rubber handle which became sticky after a while. That will not happen to this trowel’s handle. The only thing that could’ve made this trowel better would be if it came with a leather loop through the hole in the handle, but that’s no big deal and I can provide that myself.

Great garden tool

Great gardening tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the trowel, I noticed that it was very well made and sturdy. The spot welds for the handle are well hidden and I hope they will last a very long time and won’t break over time. The feel of the handle is Perfect for me and is very well balanced. I highly recommend it. I’m even going to buy one for my mother in law who loves gardening.
