La trousse de démarrage préassemblée 3M(MD) Hand-Masker est une manière toute simple de commencer à utiliser les systèmes de masquage 3M Hand-Masker. La polyvalence de cet outil et ses caractéristiques spéciales en font l'outil de choix des entrepreneurs pour le masquage. À utiliser lors des tâches de peinture, de plâtrage, d'application d'une couche de fini sur un mur extérieur ou intérieur et des tâches de sablage de plancher. Le distributeur 3M Hand-Masker applique la pellicule masquante prépliée (jusqu'à 144'' ou le papier masquant (jusqu'à 18'') simultanément avec le ruban de peintre ScotchBlue (3/4'' à 2''). La trousse de démarrage comprend un distributeur M3000 Dispenser, une pellicule 12'', un rouleau de ruban 1,5'' 2090 et un rouleau de pellicule AMF72.

Great tool with great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hand Masker is a great tool. It makes taping around doors, windows, and trim fast and easy. Painting for so many years, I normally don't tape because it takes too long and over time I developed a steady hand I didn't need to tape. Right out of the package, I did some practice taping to get the feel of the Hand Masker. This I recommend. Looking at the tool it seemed it might be bulky and heavy. But not at all. The design was well thought out. Once you learn how to use the tool it's amazing how quickly taping is done. This is a tool that will be well used.

Hand Masker M3000

I painted my kitchen and living room and this product made my life so much easier. I didn’t worry about paint getting on my carpet or kitchen hardwood flooring or on my new cabinets. Thanks for this wonderful product!

Reliable time saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of the hand masker. It is a pleasure to recommend this tool which I have used for over 35 years. I am a retired painting contractor. Before this tool appeared on the market I used to spend time an money to mask using newspapers and other rolled paper to cover and protect areas from overspray or drips. The 3M masker cut the time in half and did a better job. It is like having a helper work with you in doing your job. It can be used with different size rolled paper and with refolded plastic rolls which cover a wider area. As a painter, I could not work without having this tool.

Easy to use tool made painting project easier!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hand-masker was very helpful in speeding up the painting process. When used indoor the tape and plastic masking is quick and easy. I did not find it as easy to use when masking for outdoor projects. If you make small slits in the plastic to allow air flow the tape stays attached much better..You do have to use quite a bit of force to have the blade cut through the plastic an tape. The hand-masker made my project so much easier and the 3M plastic rolls came in several sizes to suite each of my painting jobs.

Work Saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to paint my son's room over a brief vacation from work. Time was of the essence, as I didn't want to spend my whole vacation painting. For me, prep is the most time consuming part of the process. I bought the 3M Hand-Masker M3000 starter Pack to get me through the prep fast. I can happily say it did. After a brief learning period, I was able to mask everything that I needed to in his room in under an hour. I finished the whole job in a day, allowing me some well deserved vacation time. Thanks 3M

Super handy on the job.

Big time saver for a messy chore
Okay so to be truthful I am somewhat uncoordinated and tend to make a mess when I tape off as I prep to paint. I usually end up with folded up tape in spots and then paint seeps in and I get aggravated. When I received this as a sample to try and review, I thought it looked too fiddly to be useful. But I was wrong-it works and works well. I do have to be careful when I start off, or I can wrinkle the tape or the film, but as long as I take my time to start it applies like a dream. Just go slow until you get the hang of it and you will be pleased.

Great product but the blade is hard to adjust
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product, but I couldn't adjust the blade to match the tape size. I'm a fairly strong woman and even watched online instruction videos, but still couldn't adjust it. It would be an even better product if they could make it easier to adjust the blade.
