There is very little assembly required, you just have to attach the handle to the mower, which is very easy to do.

I have read a review that states you no longer manufacture the battery for this unit. Is this true? If so is there a compatible battery?

How long the batter should last after fully charged? I'm asking cause after green solid on the charger, the mower didn't last for 20 mins working before the bars on the battery were blank and I had to leave it to charge again. This was my 1st use.
I purchases this mower in June. To date the battery has functioned very well. Typically i get 40 minutes battery life. I have experienced less cutting time when the grass is longer or damp. You will notice that the engine revs at higher revolutions, which will drain the battery.

No, each voltage platform has its own set of interchangeable tools and batteries but are not interchangeable across different voltage platforms.

What is the run time of this mower?
Hi. I purchased this mower a few weeks ago. It takes me about an hour to cut my lawn. I can do it without the need to recharge. What I really like is how quiet it is and the storage options.

Not too bad but ...
This is a nice light powerful lawnmower and for the most part is a worthy purchase. But .. the battery life is awful and I mean awful. My old (14 yr old) 20 V could easily cut the yard four times before needing to be charged but this can barely make it through cutting my new smaller yard once. So if you have a larger yard you might need a second battery. Another nit pick is that the wheel base width is wider than the cutting one. The means you can't get close to any borders with out running over plants or leaving a couple inches of uncut grass if you have a raised edge. So while a good mower, the battery life really hinders its overall value.

Good lawnmower for typically postage stamp lot
I purchased this to replace an old battery operated lawnmower (12Volt Greenworks)
along with the Kobalt trimmer (Tool only).
This this is way more power and did a great job cutting my 40x120 property, leaving about 50% on the battery. I used the trimmer next which used 25% of the battery.
Does the trick for your average postage stamp lot in Toronto. In one section of my lawn the grass was a little long and the lawnmower died. I had to simply restart and continued without any issues.
If you have a larger yard and plan on getting the trimmer, I would suggest getting Kobalt trimmer which comes with a battery and charger.

Surprising light and easy to use
With this bein new with no reviews, I was a bit hesitant to buy it. I wanted a 19 inch and a lighter lawn mower. The fact that it has a 5Ah 40V battery is a bonus plus the fact that I can stock it in an upright position, extra bonus.
I set it up myself rather quickly. Read the manual and used it for the first time. Takes a few minutes for it to start, so be patient. It is very quiet, and does a nice job. I like it so far. Being a petite, older lady, it was just a perfect replacement of an old gas lawn mower.
So far so good

Great Handling and plenty of power!
Bought this as a SECOND machine, for a bigger trimming job on my 7/8-acre property. Already had recently purchased a 16" version for smaller vacation property. So far, I'm impressed with - of course - the 'battery' part of this mower. It did all the trimming around 120+ trees/bushes/flower gardens and still seemed to have lots of charge left. The mower felt like it was easily powering through long, thick grass. I especially like the one-lever height adjustment. I'm hopeful that I'm just as impressed a year from now...

Great mower
Bought it in spring when it was on sale cheaper then what it is now. Was worried at first but it does a great job. Battery lasts for the whole backyard and front. Took it to a friend's place with tall grass and it cut like nothing

Very impressed
I bought this about 3 weeks ago, and have used it 3 times. Each time, the length and thickness of the grass has been different, and the mower has tackled the job with excellent results. I'm impressed with the variable speed of the blade. The heaviest time, 3/4 of the battery power was used. The other times, only 1/2 of the battery power was used.

Much nicer than loud, heavy gas mowers.
I've used the Kobalt 20-in 40-Volt MAX mower only 3 times and I'm pleased with it. I have a large lawn, the battery lasts for little over an hour, about 1/2 the job so I have a built in break. The machine is light and easy to maneuver, the grass catcher holds a good amount of cuttings. So nice not to think about the gas and oil.
Expensive as all battery mowers are, but a great change from loud gas mowers.

Great Cordless Machine
I bought this machine two weeks ago. Used it twice now, and am very pleased.
There was almost nothing to do for the set up. It stores vertically with just the twist of the two knobs. I am a 5'3" female and lifting it up into position is a breeze.
I am especially happy about the size and weight of the battery. I had a 36V Black and Decker mower for several years, and the mower and battery were considerably heavier.
Hopefully this battery will last longer than the B&D 36V. Access to the Kobalt battery will definitely be easier, and less expensive.
