Description
Cette tondeuse électrique de marque Kobalt possède un puissant moteur de 13 A et un grand plateau de coupe en acier de 21 pouces offrant durabilité et résultats rapides. Elle permet 7 hauteurs de coupe différentes de 1 3/4 à 3 3/4 pouces. La tondeuse a une conception 3 en 1 qui permet l'éjection latérale, le déchiquetage et l'ensachage arrière et son cordon est verrouillable.

Yes you can, it comes with everything you need for mulching with the bag and if you dont want to mulch then you can remove the bag and put the plug in its place so that the clippings just fall on the lawn and blow out the side.

Which extension cord would work best for this Lawn Mower for a 50 feet length?
Manual that comes with this mower recommends 12 gauge(12awg) at 50 foot length for 13 amp lawn mower. 100 ft length cord is not recommended. 14 gauge(14awg) can only be used with cord length of 25 ft. Motor failure could occur from over heating with too small of gauge cord.

Hello there,
Generally the serial number is found on/near a warning or danger label in a white strip on the back of the lawn mower. The serial number starts with 3 letters, followed by 7 digits and a manufacture date code.

Problem with flying grass and rusty bolts
The machine cuts in such a way as to have grass fly upwards onto the deck and lid. Apparently the back plastic flap guard does not prevent the grass from shooting up when I uses the side discharger. The other problem is that it came with significantly rusty bolts to connect the handlebars to the machine; and the plastic wheels and front plastic lid are very easily scratched by branches or other items. Needs to be more robustly built, and should not have rusty bolts right out of the box. It cuts okay in dry weather but I am seeing rust already on the bolts and underbody of the deck so I am not happy.

Bought this mower over 2 years ago it’s great. Love that it is corded so no battery to worry about dying mid mow. I needed a lawn mower that was light weight as I have stairs on both sides of my house so if I need to get it from front to back I need to lift it, this one I can lift. If you stay on top of mowing this one will be perfect, if you let your lawn grow a foot long then you will need a gas mower as it will bog this one down. It has been doing the job I hoped it would do with no issues for 2 years.

Pretty good electric mower...
I bought this 3yrs back and this year it suddenly stopped.. took it local lowes store and they returned my money, bought the same one again...
5yrs warranty is hassle free !! And electric mower itself is very good for 1/4 acre lawn.. mower is sturdy and perfect for household usage..

vibrations importantes jusque dans le manche
J'ai acheté la Kobalt 21'' hier. Je l'ai utilisé seulement 30 min. Elle vibre tellement que mes mains en fourmille encore. Je ne recommande vraiment pas cette tondeuse. Le bruit et les vibration sont extrêmement désagréables.

Good gas alternative
Bought this mower, approx a year ago. When compared to the gas-powered equivalent definitely notice more power delivery with a gas-powered mower on the thicker/ denser grass. I have a small lawn approx. 300-400 sq.ft and this mower does a good job providing a great manicured cut. I have never cut saturated wet grass or grass over 7-8 inches to minimize strain on the electrical motor. As well I use an extension cord with Amp rating >13 Amps again so as to provide the maximum mfg power rating to the unit.
Pros: noise level is satisfactory, easy and quick height adj, good cut, steel deck helps to keep mower stable when cutting, good sized wheels for easy pushing
Cons: Weight might be an issue for some when it comes to storage, wish the handles collapsed a bit easier for storage

Great and simple
I just used this machine today and can't be happier. I read a lot of reviews about corded 120v or cordless battery operated which are convenience but either has its + and -. I decided to go corded 120v because you don't have to pay so much money for cordless mower. At some point you will have to buy replacement batteries and is even more pricier. Some people complaint about power cord is hard to deal to these people my advice is don't bother with this machine. If you think you are handy no problem working this mower go for it. I am so happy today, will sell my gasoline mower even thou is working flawlessly , no more, Expensive Tune ups (if you have to pay somebody to service your mower) + mechanic labor, gas (fumes), gas filter , oil, air filter, spark plugs and belt because is self propelled. SELLING IT. This electric mower I push with one hand like a vacuum doing my carpet it is so easy. When you mow nobody will even hear you compare to my gas one whole neighborhood can hear you (: . I bought this on sale $225 with tax included, some cordless mowers one battery is that much. One advice buy extension cord at least 14/3 means 14 gage wire not to have any problems 12 gage even better what I have. One thing I wished for is if it will store like some mower up right against the wall but still happy with my purchase.

Build quality
Broke on second use. Safety stop broke and had to unplug mower to stop it. Went back for exchange and with no more available decided on an alternate product.
