La tondeuse autopropulsée Select Cut XP 21 pouces de marque EGO POWER+ fournit 8,3 pi-lb de couple qui excède la puissance d'une tondeuse à essence. Personnalisez votre coupe avec trois lames inférieures interchangeables ; la lame de déchiquetage, la lame d'ensachage à grande levée et la lame à durée d'utilisation prolongée. I’m curious about the complaints posted saying that the cut is uneven. Could this be a result of attempting to cut grass that has grown longer? Trying to take too big of a bite, so to speak. Or possibly because the grass is wet when cutting?

Impressive power, no gas engine emissions!
I am a contractor and I demand my cordless tools to have an abundance of power and my mower must be able to mow my yard with 1 battery charge, and EGO delivers. The EGO having adjustable features to fit multiple body types, i.e. handle length/height and self propelled speed to suit me is greatly appreciated!! If you are going to work you might as well be as comfortable as you can be. The deck height setting is highly visible so I know what depth I am cutting at a glance and I have the option to collect and bag the clippings if I choose, and when I am done it folds up and takes up a fraction of space compared to my last mower.

Very poor cut quality- leaves lines of uncut grass
I own a number of EGO power+ tools and was excited to start using this mower. Unfortunately it is the worst cut from any mower I have used and owned. It leaves lines of uncut grass. It would be one thing if it was just along the path of the wheels, but it is also just of to the side of centre. I typically cut with a 3rd to a 1/2 of overlap. My old gas mower would at least lift the flattened grass from the wheels of the previous cut path. This EGO does not even do that very well. I am very disappointed with the quality of cut. Having to cut twice is not an ideal or effective or efficient way to cut my lawn (3hrs vs 1.5hrs).

EGO’s hype is all true!
This mower provides an excellent cut. Being able to easily adjust the speed is a terrific feature, but the mower is so light that it’s quite effortless to just push on flatter sections of my lawn. The power to drive it up slopes comes on strong with the push of a thumb. My lawn covers about 1/3 acre and has varied terrain. Cutting moderately high grass is accomplished with about 1/3rd of the battery still available. It’s certainly the quietest mower I’ve ever used. Charging the 10am battery back to full takes under an hour.
The claim of exceeding the power of a gas engine seems accurate. Thick grass cut low does NOT slow this machine down.

Lightweight, great cut.
Great lawnmower! Originally purchased the 2135 model but it didn't cut well on the higher setting (5). This one did great on 5. This one has the longer lasting battery as well. Highly recommend and worth the extra money in my opinion. It is also very easy to handle. I had shoulder surgery and have mowed the lawn several times now with one hand. Additionally, I purchased this same one for my 80 year old mother who handles it just fine. She can also move the deck settings up and down on her own (no way on the gas mower) and can turn it over on her own to clean the bottom (again, she could never do that on her own with the gas mower). Mulches even better than my Honda.

POWER+ 21” Select Cut™ XP Mower with Touch Drive
The lawnmower is easy to use, cuts the grass and mulches it extremely well. It is also much quieter than my previous gas-powered self-propelled mower. Only disappointment is how fast the battery drains when using self-propelled function. For ~0.4 acre lot, if I used the self-propelled function the battery lasts long enough to cut the front & sides of the yard and a small portion of the back and then needs to be recharged in order to finish the back. Fortunately the mower is light enough that I can push it most of the time instead of using the self-propelled function but even then I fell a few passes short of finishing the yard before battery needed recharging.

Where Were You All My Life?
I had a beautiful gas powered reel mower that was the thing lawn enthusiast googled over. Problem is that it was big, heavy, slow, and difficult to maneuver. Plus I have hills in my yard. I got this mower and its amazingly convenient. I can mow my 6000 sq ft yard in about 30 minutes with this using the self propulsion the entire time. I alway have more than 60% of the battery left. I use both blades for mulching and the mulch quality is great. I'm able to add in a 2nd now every week without dread and it's a breeze. Great power, speed, quality of cut, noise, everything. It even folds up perfectly for storage. I hope this mower lasts cause it's awesome.

Well tamed mowing beast
I was amazed at the power of this mower. I really had my doubts about a battery driven mower being able to deliver the kind of mowing power this one does. I like the SP adjustability from 0 to way too fast for me. It's great not having to tug on a cord to start. Since I got this at the beginning of the season, I'm still bagging, so I haven't had the chance to see how well it mulches, but it bags just fine. And the bag is easy to handle with respect to mounting, removing, and emptying. The one lever deck height adjustment is awesome and easy. This machine is a well tamed beast.

Now worth the high price
Poor quality cutting, leaving blades of grass standing. This mower does NOT cut better than a gas-powered mower. I prefer to manually push the mower when I cut my lawn for additional exercise, but the design of the handle does not allow this option for pushing. My thumb joints get very sore due to the manner in which I have to push because EGO places two power buttons on the handle where one would normally grab to push (handle does work well for self-propelled function, but not manually pushing). And for the high purchase price EGO gives a plastic mowing deck - PLASTIC! In a nutshell, you are paying for a Tesla but getting a Leaf or Prius.
