Description
La tondeuse autopropulsée EGO POWER+ 21 pouces Select Cut XP offre un couple de 8,3 pi/lb qui dépasse la puissance de l'essence. La première tondeuse à gazon sans fil à disposer d'un système de coupe multi-lames interchangeables. Personnalisez votre coupe(TM) avec trois lames inférieures interchangeables au choix : la lame de déchiquetage, la lame d'ensachage à haute levée et la lame à durée d'utilisation prolongée. La lame de déchiquetage est installée sur la tondeuse et est idéale pour le déchiquetage hebdomadaire, vous offrant la qualité de déchiquetage que vous attendez d'une tondeuse à gazon à essence haut de gamme. La lame d'ensachage à grande levée fournit une aspiration supplémentaire idéale pour l'ensachage, laissant votre jardin libre d'herbe coupée. La lame à durée d'utilisation prolongée offre un équilibre optimal entre la qualité de coupe et la durée d'utilisation pour des performances optimales. Les trois lames peuvent être utilisées de manière interchangeable en fonction de la coupe souhaitée. La lame supérieure EGO est utilisée en combinaison avec la lame inférieure choisie pour couper l'herbe en fins fragments, ce qui améliore considérablement les performances de coupe pour tous les types d'herbe. Impressive power, no gas engine emissions!
I am a contractor and I demand my cordless tools to have an abundance of power and my mower must be able to mow my yard with 1 battery charge, and EGO delivers. The EGO having adjustable features to fit multiple body types, i.e. handle length/height and self propelled speed to suit me is greatly appreciated!! If you are going to work you might as well be as comfortable as you can be. The deck height setting is highly visible so I know what depth I am cutting at a glance and I have the option to collect and bag the clippings if I choose, and when I am done it folds up and takes up a fraction of space compared to my last mower.

Very poor cut quality- leaves lines of uncut grass
I own a number of EGO power+ tools and was excited to start using this mower. Unfortunately it is the worst cut from any mower I have used and owned. It leaves lines of uncut grass. It would be one thing if it was just along the path of the wheels, but it is also just of to the side of centre. I typically cut with a 3rd to a 1/2 of overlap. My old gas mower would at least lift the flattened grass from the wheels of the previous cut path. This EGO does not even do that very well. I am very disappointed with the quality of cut. Having to cut twice is not an ideal or effective or efficient way to cut my lawn (3hrs vs 1.5hrs).

POWER+ 21” Select Cut™ XP Mower with Touch Drive
The lawnmower is easy to use, cuts the grass and mulches it extremely well. It is also much quieter than my previous gas-powered self-propelled mower. Only disappointment is how fast the battery drains when using self-propelled function. For ~0.4 acre lot, if I used the self-propelled function the battery lasts long enough to cut the front & sides of the yard and a small portion of the back and then needs to be recharged in order to finish the back. Fortunately the mower is light enough that I can push it most of the time instead of using the self-propelled function but even then I fell a few passes short of finishing the yard before battery needed recharging.

Well tamed mowing beast
I was amazed at the power of this mower. I really had my doubts about a battery driven mower being able to deliver the kind of mowing power this one does. I like the SP adjustability from 0 to way too fast for me. It's great not having to tug on a cord to start. Since I got this at the beginning of the season, I'm still bagging, so I haven't had the chance to see how well it mulches, but it bags just fine. And the bag is easy to handle with respect to mounting, removing, and emptying. The one lever deck height adjustment is awesome and easy. This machine is a well tamed beast.

Now worth the high price
Poor quality cutting, leaving blades of grass standing. This mower does NOT cut better than a gas-powered mower. I prefer to manually push the mower when I cut my lawn for additional exercise, but the design of the handle does not allow this option for pushing. My thumb joints get very sore due to the manner in which I have to push because EGO places two power buttons on the handle where one would normally grab to push (handle does work well for self-propelled function, but not manually pushing). And for the high purchase price EGO gives a plastic mowing deck - PLASTIC! In a nutshell, you are paying for a Tesla but getting a Leaf or Prius.

Great upgrade to previous generation
The mower was fine and better than the previous generation. It stopped worked about 45 days or so after purchase. The retailer doesn't know when the authorized repair shop, only one in my State, will pick it up so I'm without a mower. The former policy of 90 days love it or return it no questions asked has been eliminated. I really liked it when it worked but there's no "infrastructure" to get it repaired timely. In fact, its unknown when it'll be repaired. The cut quality and all the enhancements over the previous generation are a huge improvement. It's not certain the warranty is worth anything.

Appears ready for prime time
Been eying an Ego mower for the past couple of years to replace my gas powered Honda one but was waiting on some improvements like duel blades and a more powerful motor. Took the plunge this Spring and so far so good! First test was about 2.5 weeks after I had mowed using my Honda so the grass was pretty long, but the Ego handled it like a champ! I will say that I’m on about 1/4 of acre and the battery barely lasted but probably due to high grass. Overall very pleased so far. Another test will be in the fall to see how it does on bagging leafs as my old Honda did a good job in that department as well. My one complaint is that the bag is not as large as the one on my Honda.

21” Select Cut XP
I never cut grass in my life. When I needed to buy a mower I knew I wanted to buy an electric one. I waited a long time before making my purchase due to all the research I was doing on different brands etc. Now that I have the EGO I feel I made the right choice. Most of my neighbors are old and retired. Needless to say every single one of them has gas mowers. When I’m out there mowing the front lawn I can see them looking and hating from a far. Its powerful enough to cut through all the weeds and crabgrass. The battery lasts long enough for me to
do a double cut and still have juice left over with a 5amp battery. Overall great product.
