Where can I get the tank to bowl gasket kit for the vormax toilet - no one sells it. There is no point in purchasing this toilet if you can't get replacement parts? I have reached out to American Standard in Canada and receive no response.
I returned the toilet would not flush after sitting for a bit. After waiting several hrs to get ahold of American standard they were supposed to send me new flappers a month later still no part.

Is Vormax more powerful than the siphon jet flush on the champion 4?
Luckily I am able to compare both models since my son installed two A/S Champion-4 toilets a few years ago and recently I installed three A/S Vormax toilets. Although both have a powerful flush, the Champion=4 may be slightly more powerful than the Vormax, but not by much. Style-wise, the Vormax is rimless with a chute for the water to come out, whereas the Champion-4 has a rim with holes around it. Overall, both are good choices..

Is this a right or chair height ei 16.5 inches seat height
This toilet is a perfect & comfortable height, especially for older folks or taller people! Yes, the American Standard Vormax 1.28 Gpf (4.85 Lpf) White WaterSense Elongated Chair Height 2-Piece Toil toilet is "chair" height. From the floor to the rim of the toilet (without toilet seat) it measures 16.5" high. From the floor to the top of the toilet seat (attached) it measures 17.5".

Is model power assisted? Is the discharge at the rear?
We had a plumber install it so I can't answer your questions. However, there is no hydro involved. It's probably the best toilet we've had and virtually cleans itself.

Flushing on Astute Vormax toilet - if we follow instruction on just pushing the handle down and release it, only 1/3 of the water from the tank is used. Need to hold the handle down to have more water flushing. Does this indicate a problem?
I haven’t had a problem flushing this toilet. I’ve had 3 in my home for over 3 years. They have a very strong flush.

How different between astute vormax vs optum vormax toilet? Which one better?
The American Standard Astute Vormax & Optum Vormax is the same model toilet; there is no difference. The name may vary depending where it’s bought. I purchased 3 Astute Vormax toilets & I'm very happy with the higher height & better flush. Tip: There is a learning curve for how to keep the Vormax toilet "primed" - do not keep holding the handle down when flushing (just push & let go as soon as you feel resistance); otherwise the toilet loses its "priming" & won't flush. To re-prime, flush consecutively approx 5xs.

Best toilet
I tried this toilet while visiting a friends house over the holidays. Didn’t realize I needed a new toilet until trying this one out! I ended up replacing all 3 of my toilets with this one, and got it on a buy more save more! Installation was clear, and the toilet is fantastic. The flush is quiet and water saving. Since it comes from the side, it is very powerful taking everything away, and it doesn’t seem to get the toilet ring like my old toilet did since the water dispenses differently. Soft close lids. Elongated seat and chair height are excellent feature too. I liked my old American Standard toilets but I love these new ones! hard to say what the reliability will be over time but right now, I feel like it was worth the upgrade!

Best Toilet Ever!!
I was in need of a new toilet that flushed well and after doing some googling this toilet came up with great reviews and now I see why. This toilet has an incredible flush with a new design that gets away from the typical holes in the rim design with a full pouring channel that swooshes the water with such force!! It is a low water usage toilet too! The best part, this 2 pc toilet goes together and installs so easily and quickly. I like this toilet so much, I went back and bought a second one for our basement bathroom.

Bowl cracked after two months
I bought this toilet because of the great features and warranty. It was installed in a basement guest bath where it was used maybe twice a week. I was cleaning it and noticed what looked to be a scratch - turns out the bowl was cracking and it became progressively worse. I called AS and waited on hold for over 45 mins before hanging up. Then I tried the website and got a reply requesting photos and a receipt copy. I immediately sent them (Dec 3) and have yet to receive a reply despite a follow up email. The 10 year warranty is useless. I am redoing 4 bathrooms in my home currently and will not be purchasing any more AS products at this point. I am supremely disappointed because I had heard so much about AS quality and the toilet was amazing performance-wise.
I do not recommend this product because of the crack it developed and the warranty issues.

Excellent Toilet and good Price
Purchased 3 weeks ago and installed it myself. Easy install with no problems. Works as it should with lots of flushing action. I will be picking up another one later this month. Nice feature is the chair height seat.

One great, one not
We bought two toilets in January for our home and recently installed both and they really do flush very well and we are impressed with their workings one of the toilets is not made as well as the other. I can not get the toilet seat to fit well and it catch’s on your clothing every time you stand up also the tank lid is misshapen on one corner but the other toilet is perfect. I also spent about an hour on the toilet seat trying to fit it by modifying the holes in the lid and that is my best result.

won't flush
Bought toilet year ago. Just now it won't flush. Tried adjustments and priming, but to no avail. Called customer support and they require receipt for warranty. Unfortunately, have misplaced it, which is my fault. Will not buy Vormax again.
