Love the color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Closet Couture shelf is part of a very modern and sturdy looking set. This is made of tight mesh steel wire. It's a very pretty and clean looking champagne nickel finish. It seems to be able to hold heavy items. It also has clips that will allow it to attach to other shelves for one continuous clean look. I really like it and would recommend it.

Very Small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shelf seems to be well made and sturdy, but it is very small. It would only be useful in a very small closet. The only mounting hardware it comes with are 2 very small screw clips. These alone are insufficient to support the shelf so extra hardware is required to mount the item securely. I honestly cannot endorse this product.

Quality product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a shelf that attaches to the whole unit. At this time, (because I don't have the whole unit)...I can only review the shelf. It seems to be of nice quality and sturdy and would work well with the unit. With a little brain work and rigging...it can be attached elsewhere if one doesn't have the whole unit.

For me, it’s not practical and that’s the only reason I gave it 3 Stars and could not recommend it to a friend.

Closet culture shelving
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was given this to review, I was unable to understand why only one open shelf or one piece of wood shelving was available for review. I decided to see what the wired shelf was all about since I already have a shelving unit in my closet by a different manufacturer. Unfortunately, it does not work with my particular system. When I received it, that was all there was obviously. No instructions included. In fact, I had to look at the tiny label to figure out the manufacturer.
I looked up Closet Culture shelving online and found it was a single separate component of the entire system. The entire basic system can be purchased in various widths and then all the additional components are purchased separately, this shelf being one of them. The manufacturer is a company called Knape and Vogt based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
According to their website, the Closet Culture modular closet system is sold as individual components and in 4-ft., 6-ft. and 8 ft. kits at major home stores across the U.S. The kits include hang rail(s) with covers, standards, shelf brackets, closet poles, closet pole hooks and installation hardware. Wood and wire shelves, accessories and decorative fascia are sold separately from the kits. Based on prices I observed, this would be a rather expensive install all told.
I watched a YouTube installation of the basic system and then all the separate add-ons to actually make the system workable. I have decided to put this rack to use in the kitchen as a cooling rack for cooling cookies, cakes, etc. fresh out of the oven.

Decent, but nothing special
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arrived damaged and 2 of the wires had snapped. I was able to bend the corner back into place that had really been damaged, but it just seems very cheaply made.

Closet Culture nickel shelf
Very sturdy and big-holds a lot. Easy to install into brackets. Would give 5 stars if Lowe’s carried this closet system in all of it’s stores and/or not all were out of stock online.
