Could this product be used to redo a shower stall
Hi Richard13,
We do not recommend this product for a shower stall. We recommend trying our Tub & Tile Refinishing kit instead.

I am redoing my kitchen counter top with this product. When I was prepping, I found a wet area near the back, so I removed the sink to replace the moldy wood. It is now clean and repaired. How soon can I replace the sink?
Hi MrsHuszar14,
As long as the surface is sound, stable and dry, you should be able to replace your sink.

I know this says you have to wait 72 hours for light use, but do I have to wait the full 72 to put my appliances back? I want my kitchen back organized.
Hi Netty,
We do recommend waiting as you do not want to damage the surface and have to start do unnecessary touch-ups.

How many square feet will this cover? How many coats are required? What is drying time between coats? Are face masks required while applying?
The Mica Countertop Transformation covers 50 sq Ft.
A. Thoroughly stir the Base Coat using a stir stick. Pour a portion of the Base Coat
into a clean paint tray.
B. Starting with the backsplash, use a
50 mm (2”) synthetic brush to apply an
even coat of Base Coat.
C. Be sure that your coverage includes 2-5 cm
(1-2”) of the flat countertop surface that
connects to the backsplash. This will prevent
your roller from accidentally bumping into
the backsplash while rolling.
D. Working from back-to-front, use the
enclosed 150 mm x 10 mm (6” x 3/8”) nap
roller to apply an even coat of Base Coat
over the entire countertop. Then use the brush
again to coat any tight spaces (i.e. around the
sink or in the corners).
Roller
Brush
Hold the roller at a high angle when rolling on the Base Coat
for a smooth application.
E. For each section, once the Base Coat has been applied to the entire surface then
re-roll in one, uniform direction towards your body.
F. After the Base Coat has been applied, quickly inspect the entire countertop for sags,
mistakes, or areas of thin coverage. Apply more Base Coat where necessary. To
repair accidental bumps, see “Preparation and Repair” in the FAQ section.
G. After the first coat has dried for at least 2 hours or until the inside edges are dry,
repeat steps A-F and apply a second even coat of Base Coat.
H. Once the second coat is dry to the touch (approx. 2 hours) and before it completely
dries, be sure to remove the tape by first scoring it around the edges.
I. For maximum adhesion of the clear Mica top coat to the base coat, lightly sand the
base coat with sanding pad after it has dried overnight. Apply the Protective Top Coat
within 24 hours of applying the Base Coat.
Allow the coating to dry overnight. However apply the Protective Top Coat within 24
hours of applying the Base Coat.
And you don't need a mask.

Love this !!!
This product is awesome! I had a old bright yellow linoleum countertop in my kitchen that was extremely dated and did not go with any of my decor and was covered in unsightly stains from the previous home owners. I got this product as a solution until I eventually renovate my kitchen a few years from now. I am so happy I got this! It comes with all the tools you need to complete the job (everything except the roller handle but it does come with the rollers). It took a weekend to complete and it seriously looks like I have a brand new kitchen countertop now. The final epoxy coating (for the micra white) has a settle sparkle in it and dries very hard which is perfect for a work surface and is very easy to clean.

Great product!
So happy with how my counters turned out. The only thing I would say is I ordered online due to the closure so I didn’t realize Id have to buy a couple other things that weren’t included in the kit. No big deal, just keep in mind if you’re ordering curb side pick up that you’ll need a small rolling cage, gloves, plastic painters sheets, painters tape, etc. If you read the instructions and watch the informational videos it helps! If done correctly this product works wonders! No one believes that I just painted my counter tops. Highly recommend.

Ok product
We bought this product to transform our bathroom countertop. All went smoothly until the top coat. It says it dries in 4-6 hours and wait 7 days for normal use. Well we are on day 4 and the top coat is almost just as tacky as when I coated it. Not sure if it is moisture from showers but we have a fan blowing (even though it says no fans) in hopes that it soon dries to the touch. It is a good product and covered nicely and looks nice, we just can’t get it to dry.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT
We did our kitchen with this product, and successfully got rid of the old blue laminate. It's a process but if you prepare and take your time the finished product is amazing. We had so many compliments and plan to do this again in our next home. It will ding easily with knives so just be careful to always use cutting boards. We also did not use the countertops heavily at all for 7+ days which I recommend (makes sure the epoxy is hard)
