My fusion light model 16979 the remote doesn’t work what is wrong
Also the solar panel needs to be in the dark for the light to actually turn on. I absolutely love mine!!

works well for me
I saw this and I was hesitant in buying, after reading the reviews. But I took a chance and brought it home. So far, it worked. That battery was charged out of the box. There is a switch right on the light. This switch has 3 positions: OFF, ON AND THE MIDDLE. If you put it to ON OR OFF, the remote will never work. You have to put it right in the middle, and the remote works. I placed it inside my garage facing the door. I could turn this on, approximately 15 feet away from it, as long as its within my line of sight. The remote has 3 buttons, HIGH, LOW AND OFF. And they all work flawlessly. I set it up this afternoon, but never connected the wire to charge it. I only connected it, when it was dark. Since the battery was charged out from the box, I still have it on as I was writing this review. I will see if the charging works tomorrow!

I Love it!!
First I have to say something to some of the previous posts "Read the instructions!!" There is a three way switch on the lamp. To use the remote it has to be between on and off. As others have said it has to be dark for it to turn on. I'm very happy with the brightness for BBQ'ing!

These are horrible!
These are horrible!
I bought two of these for my 10x12 gazebo. We hung them and solar panels felt hot so they definitely got plenty of sun where they were installed on the roof. They both came on out of the box however neither remote worked in the middle position as stated. I replaced both batteries and only one light would function in that mode. Next I tried the lights in the on position which are automatic at night time only. The second light worked on that mode but was very dim and the other one did nothing. I tried everything according to the instructions for a few weeks and finally climbed up and uninstalled them from the roof. These are defective plastic lights. Stay away. I should have known from the number of opened boxes that were on the shelf.

Low quality
We purchased it for our hardtop gazebo we winterized to store our patio furniture. Product is made of very low quality. The chain is made of super cheap plastic that already cracked when installing. Remote control states up to 20 feet. No way. 5 feet tops (at least for me).
It's doing what I wanted...just not as bright as I had hoped (even on high setting). You're getting what you pay for.

Désastre total!
Cette lumière ne tient pas le coup! Elle se referme au 30 secondes, et après plusieurs tentatives d'allumage, elle n'allume plus de la soirée ! Pourtant, elle est exposée au grand soleil toute la journée durant.

Fixed the problem
My first attempts to operate the light failed. No matter which position I put the power switch the light would not work. Removed battery cover on remote first which was installed properly. Once I opened the fixture itself the I found the problem. The wire and base connector for the center battery were not in the battery compartment. I pushed it in and the light came on. Works great. Who do I send my billable hours to?

Horrible
Purchased a week ago. Plugged in for 3 days in the off position as stated in the instructions. 5 days later, no light. Just checked again... No light.
