Est-ce que le chauffe-terrasse peut être utilisé dans un solarium trois-saison ( couvert et fermé par des rideaux de nylon) ou il doit être utilisé strictement dans un environnement complètement ouvert à l'extérieur pour la ventilation ?
Why are you not answering the "2" simple questions you have been asked? I for 1 will not buy and not shop at any of your locations until I see answers!
Product Overview says 38000BTU - Header says 48000BTU . Is it 48000BTU?
175 square inches? Typo?
Does any of the questions get answered. I do not see any answers. The questions are valid such as the BTU discrepancy and the heating area in inches not feet.

Worth the effort
We tried to purchase this unit at the local store on Black Friday, they were out of stock. While still at the store we went searching on the net. Found it on the Lowes site and had it two days later. After assembly (which was very easy) and hooking up the propane the unit works great. My wife will now use our outdoor hot tub. She doesn't have to freeze after getting out into the cold air. The heater works well enough she has discussed having diner on our patio in winter.
One cautionary note.....don't forget to buy an adapter for the connection between propane tank, and heater regulator.

Nice Gas Heater for Porch
I purchased two of these heater one year ago and have used them occasionally here in Florida. Lowe's was offering a very attractive price on these at the time. Assembly is required, but it is not difficult, only a bit time consuming. The unit works well and delivers plenty of heat. I did have an issue with one of the units after sitting idle for 10 months. I called the help number and the technician gave me several things to try. After blowing out the pilot orifice, the unit was working well again. Good unit.

JUNK
I bought this unit two years ago during a black friday sale. Reading other people reviews. eithe I got a "lemon" or indeed Lowes got downgraded units for the day.
- Assembly was a nightmare, as holes did not aligned properly, and could not get the main shat to stay vertical - had to shim one side to get it properly set.
- The electric starter quit after one year of use
- the screws started to rust after one winter, and yes it was covered with a tarp
- the gas lines keep on leaking; if I forget to shut off the tank, it will empty out, and even doing so, it is very obvious there is leaks in the system.
In sum, I do not recommend this unit - it's low grade. Spend more for quality, unless you want to toss it away whithin a year or two

Nice Heater
Assembly was easy with good instructions!! Easy to light if you follow instructions. Heater coverage is limited -about 5 feet in every direction- far shorter than advertised. That being said I used it during a party and at least 5 people wanted to buy one. Tank is still 1/2 full after 5 hours of use. I would recommend buying unless you want to heat a larger area then go with a higher BTU model.

Not what I hoped for
I purchased the heater in the middle of September and the first time I used it I was surprised how long I had to hold onto the pilot button, but I figured it was new and the tube needed to purge of air.
The second time used was about 2 weeks ago, and I had to hold onto the pilot button for probably 2-3 minutes.
Its now Oct 25 and Its 41 degrees outside and I have been holding on to the pilot button for greater than 5 minutes... no joy I swapped the tank out with fresh tank... still no joy.
Both those tanks will drive the BBQ....
This is not what I hoped for, so I am returning it.

Great Heater
This heater is simple to assemble and use. The hardest part was removing the protective film from the pieces before attaching to the heater. Rolled it out of the garage connected the propane tank and the pilot lit right up just like in the directions but I only had to wait about 5 seconds instead of 30.
For those that have trouble with the ignition you may need to be sure the small cover by the pilot is open about 1/8" (like a car choke) or figure out how to see inside to verify the pilot it actually lit.
The heater is clean and quite (it did have some ash the first few times I used it but once the finish burned off the heater no more ash).

works ok
like I have seen in other reviews the heat delivery when sitting down is moderate at best. Don't leave it outside unless you anchor it, with the cover on it will blow over in a moderate wind. we had sand in the bottom, tank was empty. and after reading about rust I wouldn't leave it out regardless. was able to straighten out the bends and dents carefully as to not make it look like junk. There are 3 sets of 2 holes around the base that would be ideal for either stabilizers or anchoring.

Topples over in the lightest of breezes
We bought two of these for our deck, and I wish we could return them. We assembled one and set it up, and within 2 days it had toppled over in (non-severe) wind, even with a tank loaded and the base properly weighted. I added an extra 20 lbs of weight and it toppled over again the next day. The top of the unit is now completely smashed, just from toppling over. The unit looks like we bought it 5 years used and it's been outside for two days.
AVOID.
