Description
Cette souffleuse à neige à une phase de Briggs & Stratton est dotée d'un démarreur électrique à bouton et d'un moteur Briggs & Stratton 950 Snow Series(MC) de 208 cc conçu pour résister aux conditions hivernales les plus difficiles. Celui-ci est capable de démarrer à des températures aussi basses que -28 °C (-20 °F) et offre une puissance de 9,5 pi-lb, une largeur de 22 po (55,88 cm) et une hauteur d'admission de 12,5 po (31,75 cm), idéal pour la neige allant jusqu'à 12 po de hauteur. Le déflecteur de chute à ajustement rapide permet de changer la hauteur et la distance à laquelle la neige est lancée simplement grâce à la poignée intégrée. Ce produit est couvert par une garantie limitée de 3 ans.
- Le moteur de 208 cm³ de la gamme Snow(MC) 950 Briggs et Stratton est spécialement conçu pour démarrer en force (à des températures de -20 sous zéro) et fournir la puissance nécessaire pour déneiger un maximum de 30 cm de neige. Il comprend des commandes surdimensionnées pour une utilisation adaptée aux mitaines
- Le démarrage électrique par bouton-poussoir accélère et simplifie le démarrage à chaque utilisation
- La largeur de déblaiement de 55 cm (22 po) et la hauteur d'admission de 30 cm (12 po) rendent le travail rapide et facile tout en projetant la neige à une distance maximale de 9 m (30 pieds)
- Cette unité est conçue pour être compacte et légère, ce qui facilite le travail
- Modifiez facilement la hauteur et la distance de projection de la neige par une simple pression sur la poignée montée sur la goulotte
- Changez facilement la direction de la goulotte de gauche à droite grâce à la poignée de rotation montée sur la goulotte
- La tarière à bords en caoutchouc résistant à l'usure déblaie la neige jusqu'à la chaussée et aide à propulser la souffleuse vers l'avant
- Boîtier de vis sans fin en une seule pièce avec roulements à billes qui offre une meilleure durée de vie
- Couverte par une garantie limitée d'un an

is it wheel driven. Throttle?? do i need alot of force to push it?
Push with Auger Assistance makes this unit mover forward with ease. It's basically moves it self once the Auger is engaged.

My 208cc blower has the SYMPTOMS of a broken shearpin. Engine starts great, nice solid roar. Hold down handle, auger starts to spin. Once in snow, auger stops. Everything else still works as it should. Is there a shear pin? Cant see one. suggestions?
I used mine 5 times, snapped a bolt on the auger. Also stops when it hits snow. Looking for a repairman....

The starting instructions (Manual P.8) says to turn the choke control to the CLOSED position.. The choke has 3 positions but NO markings on which position is OPEN or CLOSED. Which position is open, which is closed and what is the 3rd position?
I’m not sure what is meant by open and closed but I watched a YouTube video and it said to point the control to the right ie toward the key. So the control has “three” positions - one to start the machine pointing to the right, one in the middle pointing down ( I used this one to operate the machine, and one pointing further left this one made the engine run faster.

Does this snowblower comes with extension cord for the power start? I bought this online for online pickup and it was fully assembled when I picked up in Vaughn store location. The extension cord was not in the unit. Thanks.

how to change rubber on the drive . can you buy new one ?
Did you mean the rubber edged auger? The rubber edged auger lasts a long time. I used the rubber edged auger on an aggregate driveway that fits 6 vehicles and after 15 years of use it was still good, the engine was at the end of life which required frequent repairs. The rubber edged auger was concern when I bought the unit but it was never an issue. Now I am shopping for a new unit.

Will this snow blower be able to cut through plow ruts and ice at the end of the driveway?
I have no issues using it. Just go slowly if you go head first full speed it will not.

Does the job
I got this home the day before we got a dump of snow. Assembly was pretty simple assuming you have the right sockets or wrenches. Fired up on first try. Ran well and moved the 8" of snow easily. Was easy to manage going up the driveway but the pull from the auger going down the driveway made for an interesting ride a few times. Good grip on your boots is a must if your driveway has a slope or some packed ice. Got another 3" overnight so I decided to shovel that and wished I had used the blower instead. It is odd but now when it snows, I actually hope for a decent dump so it makes sense to pull this beast out.

Very impressed
I have use this snowblower for one season in Ottawa‘s 2020 winter.
It has done a fantastic job.
It is very easy to use and you don’t have to muscle it like the bigger machines.
So far it always starts on the first pull
It is obviously not designed to let the snow pile up all day or for a couple days.
You need to stay on top of your driveway and in doing so it is kept mine spotless. Where with a bigger machine I would go out at the end of the day and fight with it for an hour or so..
With this machine I go outwhen it is still under 10 cm and it takes me approximately 10 minutes to clean a double driveway because basically I’m walking up and down the driveway.
So far I love it

Great snowblower
Used it for the first time the other day with about 6in of heavy wet snow. Had no issues at all. Pointing the shoot forward and upright gives the best distance (around 12-15ft wet snow). Tirning to one side or the other and having it shoot more downward..decrease distance (4-5ft wet snow). The next morning I used it with 3in of light snow. All distances increased. Started with ease....electric start and pull start. Started on one pull every time. Great machine for the price.

Freakin' Awesome!
Bought this Dec 27, 2018 for $499. I'd buy again at full price in a second. Chewed through packed snow 6" deep as fast as I could push and threw it at least 25 feet!
Ran perfect in minus 20 Celsius (-25 with windchill). Freakin' awesome!

Perfect for a small driveway or corner lot
Purchased two years ago. Easy to start and electric assist starter works well if you need it. This takes up about as much room as a lawn mower in my garage. First big snow the other day was a big test. Snowed 10 inches. This blower cleared it all away. I had to take half swipes at the snow when it was taller than the blower as it did stall out once when the snow was really heavy. It is pretty easy to pull around and manoeuvre. Blows the snow a long way if you want or just a couple feet if you adjust the nozzle properly. I had a corded electric blower before and it was terrible. This little gas Briggs and Stratton is the best. I am confident it can handle Alberta snowfalls no problem. Neighbors were all impressed with how it handled.

Great little snowblower!
Bought this single stage after having a 2 stage blower. Used for the first time Nov 16th after 3-4" of snow. this is all that a person needs. works great, so much easier than a shovel and easy to maneuver.

Very Good Snowblower
I bought my unit in November of 2017, so have now used for 4 winters. Starts ALL the time if you FOLLOW the starting instructions. Very powerful for its size - I have a 5 car driveway and have cleared heavy snow (up to 12") in less than 30 minutes. This includes snowdrifts easily as high as 24". I also do 2 of my neighbours' driveways and the street in front of my driveway. This machine is a beast. All I have done in 4 years is change the oil every year and made sure that the screws and nuts on the machine are tightened. Highly recommend this snowblower.

Cleaned the driveway in minutes
It started on the first push of the button, and cleared the wet snow with ease. It moved easy as well.. Okay so far . Only wished I had purchased it when it was on sale.
