Cylinder Lock for Sliding Glass Door Handle Set
Worked great!!!!! Too bad Lowes does not stock this at all stores that sell the Pella Sliding Glass Door because anybody that buys a sliding door would like to come in from the outside without having to go in another door and go and unlock this door from the inside.

Easy to install. Not top quality
This was easy to install, but the inside washer is flimsy and eventually it broke. Lowes "Key Man" was helpful and found a brass replacement that was much better quality. I wish there were more options available and I would be willing to pay more.

Perfect fit for Pella 10 Series Sliding Patio Door
This key lock is a perfect fit for my ThermaStar by Pella 10 Series 71.5-in Clear Glass White Vinyl Sliding Patio Door Item # 605557 Model # 1000006925. Drilling out a hole in the outside handle to get it to fit was a bit of a chore. Otherwise, I am very happy with it.

Easy to install
I either had to have a locksmith rekey the lock, which would have been about 3 or 4 times the amount of money I spent on this lock. It took me about 15 minutes to change out the locks, very easy job. So if you want to save some money, buy this lock and do it yourself. I did, however, have to order this lock online because they don't carry just the lock in the store.

Serves its purpose perfectly!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a single female, I have no choice but to handle things like replacing one of these in my sliding glass door handle. Having said that, it was EEZY PEEZY! 2 Thumbs up!!

Sliding Glass door lock
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The item was delivered very fast. The vertical wing of the lock is slightly too long for the standard lock housing, requiring some grinding to fit. This was unexpected.

Won't stay locked
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The old lock was stiff getting the key in, so I purchased this.
It installed with ease. Key worked and it locked. However, when I took the key out, it wouldn't stay locked, no matter how I adjusted. But because I had to snap the tailpiece down to the right size, it's no longer returnable.
Even though it's stiff, I reinstalled the old on and at least it stays locked.
