Description
La scie à onglet combinée coulissante à double biseau de 12 po Dewalt est dotée d'un moteur de 15 ampères et d'un système intégré de positionnement des coupes transversales XPS pour une indication précise de la ligne de coupe sans réglage. Les hauts guides coulissants supportent verticalement 7-1/2 po de couronne emboîtée et 6-3/4 po de moulure de base. La conception exclusive du guide arrière permet de couper du bois surdimensionné jusqu'à 2 po x 16 po à 90 degrés. La capacité accrue de coupe d'onglets de 60 degrés à droite et de 50 degrés à gauche est dotée d'une plaque d'arrêt en acier inoxydable durable avec verrouillage à came pour une précision répétée et des réglages faciles. Ce produit est couvert par une garantie limitée de 3 ans.

- Sa plaque crantée ajustable en acier inoxydable avec 10 butées positives assure une grande productivité et des coupes précises

what does the 3 year warranty include
Covers all parts and labour except blade or damage caused from misuse. Doesn't cover shipping, however there should be an authorized dealer near you where you can drop it off and pick it up.

What blade comes with the DWS780, is it a 12" 32T or a 12" 80T
It came with 12" 60T blade. I'll be glad to get 80T as upgrade/bonus!!!

Does it come with the stand?
Usually no. But if you wait for the right sale it can, I got my stand for free with it but it was a special sale.

Can this saw, in one cut, a 6"x6" or a 8"x8" post?
No unfortunately the most you'll be able to cut with a 12 in mitre saw is going to be bout 5.5 inches due to the washer getting rid of a lot of cutting space. A 6x6 is truly 5.75inx5.75in so it will not cut it in one pass but it will cut 95% of it then you can either flip it or cut the last little bit with a hand saw.

Awesome saw, awesome price
Ordered mine online, had $200 off of price plus an online order discount, paid a little over $500, quite happy with that price.
VERY IMPORTANT
SOLVED ISSUE, RAIL RESISTANCE
the biggest thing I had an issue with was when I first took it out of the package to test it, the saw had a lot of resistance moving on the rails, I read through the manual and looked all over to find what was causing it to bind with no luck, I was contemplating having to send it back thinking "this is why it was so cheap", luckily I kept reading for a solution and I did find out that there is a tiny little Allen key set-screw behind (almost under) the tension knob, once I adjusted that it glided without resistance, I was glad that I didn't have to return it, such a sturdy versatile saw.
Note: use a 5/32 allen key to adjust it

Perfect!
Picked up this saw yesterday to replace my 12 year old 718 that had a motor seizure. Dewalt made a great saw even better. First is the weight. 14lbs lighter is a huge improvement on the job site for the 50+ guys. The other great improvement is the additional miter angles now 50/60. Many more small features that I may or may not use but Dewalt clearly was listening to contractors while redesigning this saw.

The led is worthless
You have to lower the handle to see the cut line with the LED light. So if you have something heavier cumbersome that requires two hands to position you can’t do it. I wish I didn’t buy this I’ve got 35 years experience.

Exceptional Saw
I'm a busy guy so taking time to write product reviews is not something that I would normally do. However; this saw is so phenomenal, in every aspect, that I felt compelled to spread the word. I've been using this miter saw every day since I bought it two months ago and it has been an absolute joy. I have yet to find a single thing to complain about. Do your research like I did and you'll see that I'm not the only one singing the DWS780's praises.

I've only had this saw for a couple weeks now, but seems like a really great tool. With the 12" blade, there is definitely some centrifugal force when you press the trigger, so it will kick up a bit. I really like that they incorporated an LED instead of a laser, which casts a shadow from the blade onto your wood, to show where the cut is going to happen. Looking forward to building something significant with it.

Perfect for building a deck
I bought this saw for a decking project to replace an old clunker miter saw. It cuts pretty much everything in one pass: 2x12, 4x4, etc. Only 6x6 do you need to flip the board. It is very precise, and aligning your cut is very easy. One downfall is that the "shade line" feature is difficult to see in bright sunlight. I didn't have any issues aligning cuts without it though. Very happy with this purchase.

This Miter saw was bought for my son, not being a contractor I did an extensive research on the DEWALT 780 before buying it and from the positive comments I get from him and others along side...it was the right tool cuts 60 to the right and 50 to the left with a 60 tooth saw was the main positive for this tool
