Description
La tronçonneuse EGO Power+ garantit des coupes plus propres et une durée de fonctionnement optimisée, avec un guide-chaîne tranchant de 14 pouces et un moteur sans balais à haut rendement. Le système de tension de chaîne unique comprend un bouton rotatif pour un réglage de chaîne approprié et facilité, et le frein de retour de chaîne ajoute un niveau de sécurité, pour davantage de maniabilité. La conception spécialisée EGO Power+ propose une construction résistante aux intempéries, l'appareil pouvant être utilisé en cas de pluie légère et par temps froid. Le système de lubrification automatique intégré s'assure que votre lame est parfaitement huilée. Le niveau d'huile est facile à vérifier, la fenêtre d'inspection d'huile vous donnant une idée claire de la quantité d'huile manquante dans le réservoir. La batterie avancée EGO Power+ 56 V utilise la technologie de pointe ARC Lithium-ion(MC) pour fournir une puissance robuste et est conçue pour s'adapter à tout équipement EGO Power+. Parmi les autres caractéristiques, la scie à chaîne dispose d'un protège-main avant bloquant la projection de débris et d'un bouton de sécurité empêchant les démarrages intempestifs. Blown Away
I bought this about a month ago to add to my collection of Ego tools. I had previously used a li operated chain saw, albeit, it was just 18 volts. It was slow and clunky and by the time I was through cutting an 8 inch diameter limb, my shoulders would ache from the vibrations, so I had some trepidation when I ordered the Ego.
Imagine my utter delight when, on first use, the saw just chewed through stumps that I had standing in my yard. Lots of reserve power, long lasting runtime, very fast cutting and relative quiet and all controls are easily accessible and easy to make adjustments to the saw. Would buy it again in a heartbeat. Excellent tool.

1/2 cord on 1 charge
I ordered a cord and 1/4 of firewood. It came in all at 24" long and didn't fit my smaller wood stove. My gas chainsaws all had fuel line degrading from ethanol fuel.
I bought the EGO 14" model after checking reviews and began cutting the lengths down to 16". It surprised me for a few reasons:
1) the battery held up long into the job
2) the chain cut with almost no pressure
3) when I needed to lean on it, the saw lost little power
4) the battery charged in less than an hour
5) the auto adjust on the chain tension was easy
6) the chain lube system gave it just enough oil without over or under lubricating. The blade never heated up.

Easy and safe
In some ways this feels like a toy chainsaw in that it is made of a lot of plastic and battery operated. Its performance defies toy comparisons though. As a sixty year old pretty 'handy' woman I love this chainsaw. It is lightweight and designed well. I've been clearing out some huge honeysuckle in my woods. Compared to my last chainsaw which was electric this is a piece of cake to use. Batteries have sure come a long way! And, adjusting the chain tension involves turning a knob, much simpler than my last saw that required unscrewing 5 screws. I am happy with this purchase!

Surprised at the power!
I'm not logging with this saw. I bought it to have around since the poulan I have never starts right away and it's a real pain. I don't need a chainsaw often but when i do I want it to make the job easier, not a pain. The current project is cutting down an old fruit tree and I must say I am impressed. It has plenty of power, it's quiet, and it STARTS!!! No pulling, choking, cursing or any of that. I've only used it for a couple of hours at a time so far and it has not lost any power (torque) in any of those times. I am only able to work on this tree in stages right now due to the inability to get rid of the branches all at once. Haven't started on the trunk yet, but I am not worried about it being able to handle it at all.

Better than expected
This is the 3rd Ego power tool I purchased (I picked up the lawn mover and edger a few months ago), but the one I was the most concerned about. It's a chainsaw, which can be intimidating. However, after filling it with chain oil, sliding on the chain and going over the safety features I was ready to go! It has the power I have come to expect from Ego products, the battery life to get the job done and enough safety features to feel comfortable using. I'm so impressed with Ego, that I'll eventually get the hedge trimmer when I can swing the money.

Very Happy With My Purchase
This chainsaw is amazing!! I think it is perfect not only for those that have little to no familiarity with chainsaws, but also for those that have much more experience . It is easy to use, light, and relatively quiet. There are little pictures all around it that really help with things like changing the chain or adjusting the tension. The 2.0 Ah battery let me cut down a tree and take off all the branches on one charge. If you were going out into the woods and did not have easy access to a charger you can also use a larger battery. I tried my 7.5 Ah battery and it still worked great, it was just a little more bulky. Make sure you check the oil periodically while working though. This thing is thirsty.

Ego Power Chainsaw
I wanted this for Christmas, yes a 56 year old lady wanted her own chainsaw! My husband wasn't to keen on the idea at first, he is a Stihl man. He did get it for me, and now I have to pry it from him to use. I really like being able to push a button and it will start. It is much quieter and no oil and gas smell. We own 61 acres and we are working on removing junk trees and improving our forest. It is great for the work I am doing, where I am only making a few cuts at a time, before I do it again. Love pushing the button to start and not having to leave the old saw running because you don't want to pull start it again. I use it also for cutting firewood and it works great. My only problem is that now my husband wants to use it too, so my charge doesn't last as long when it is just me using the saw. So I think he should get me another battery!

Half a dozen cuts per battery
I have a blower (awesome), trimmer (perfect) and chainsaw (useless). I have two 2.5 batteries and they each last a few cuts on the saw and they're done. Can't fault the blower as I'll get a good 20 minutes put of it and the trimmer has always lasted longer than I need. I especially love the handle length on the trimmer (I'm 6' 5") as I don't have to stoop at all. EGO really should market that benefit more! However the chainsaw just doesn't 'cut it' unfortunately. I have a large tree that was professionally cut down and I though I'd be able to trim and log it up but at the rate of two batteries lasting 10 minutes its going to take a year of weekends! It has the power while it lasts but don't expect anything more than a log of two.
