Description
Devenez un professionnel de la préparation de surface en vue de la peinture avec le ruban pour peintres ScotchBlue(MC) conçu pour moulures et plinthes. Obtenez des lignes de démarcation très nettes et retirez le ruban sans endommager la surface lorsqu'il est utilisé sur les plinthes, les moulures, le métal et le verre. Il vous possible de l'enlever de façon propre et sans résidus dans les 14 jours suivant l'application. Il convient à une utilisation intérieure et extérieure. Ce ruban offre un niveau d'adhérence moyen et est doté de la technologie Advanced Egde-Lock(MC) ainsi que d'une résistance aux rayons UV. Il a une largeur de 0,94" (24 mm) et longueur de 60 vg (55 m).

- Conseils pour l'application du ruban adhésif : Pour obtenir d'excellents résultats, assurez-vous que la surface est propre, sèche et exempte de poussière afin que le ruban adhésif adhère correctement
- Conseils pour enlever le ruban : Attendez que la peinture soit sèche au toucher avant d'enlever le ruban. Soulevez le ruban en le tirant lentement sur lui-même, puis en le retirant à un angle de 45 degrés

Terrible product!
I tried using this edge-lock tape when putting a final finish coat on new baseboards and shoe mold. Upper surface was lightly textured and painted drywall, lower surface was wood flooring. Tape began to fall of the wall within five minutes, requiring me to reposition and press it back on as I went. It held onto the wood flooring with a death grip, but the instructions on the inside of the spool, in very tiny print state to not use it on wood floors. Fortunately, there was no damage when I pulled it off. This is expensive tape that does not work. I'll be going back to regular blue tape for the rest of the job.

Edge Lock -- NOT!
After we spent literally hours taping a geometric pattern on the wall, the tape edges didn't hold at all and every single line has bleed-under. I even went ahead of my husband as he rolled the wall, and I re-sealed every edge of every line of tape, to no avail. The only clean lines we got were on the tape where it crossed over itself -- it stuck to itself beautifully! I will now have to redo the edge of every line on the whole wall with a small brush to cover the bleed-unders. I will never, ever buy this product again.

Edge Lock -- NOT!
We spent literally hours taping a diamond pattern on the wall with this tape. It didn't seem to stick well at all, but I went over every edge of every line in front of my husband as he rolled paint onto the wall, so the edges were down as he painted. Every single line leaked -- the only places where the tape actually gave a clean line was where it crossed over itself! I will now have to redo every single line on the entire wall with a small paint brush, which is going to take me days to do. The wall was clean and dry, there was absolutely no reason why good painter's tape should not have worked perfectly. I will never buy this product again!

Doesn't stick to painted surfaces
I spent an over an hour taping walls, cabinets, and trim as necessary to not get paint on surfaces where I do not want to paint, the purpose of Painter's tape. I come back to the area the next morning and most of the taping that I did the prior night needs to be redone. It has fallen off of the surfaces. I also need to go and purchase more tape, NOT 3M and tape everything again. I thought Painter's tape is supposed to help save time while painting, well not this tape, It has caused me more work. I previously purchased an off brand of painter's tape and it worked extremely better than this highly recognized and respected brand of 3M.

Caused so much more work!!
This tape absolutely sucks! It was so difficult to apply, once you ripped it off it curled itself up into a coil that adhered to itself!! once you got it on though it didn't adhere to the adjacent piece!! And one piece I didn't put close enough when I lifted it off seconds from putting it on it ripped up the paint I'd spend days applying!!! Since I was near the end to discover this I'm afraid the whole edge/border of my room is going to be ruined!!! I love the masking tape style which I've used many time but this platinum/plastice texture is hideous. I bought it by mistake and thought I'd try it...big mistake! I will never buy this kind again!!

Not happy with results of new tape
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the new tape because we were using a dark color on our dining room walls and we wanted to keep it off our trim and molding. we waited over night before trying to remove the tape and like the others, some of the paint next to the trim around the chair rail and trim around windows etc. was peeling in areas and upset that all this will have to be touched up! Another day doing all of this. I am not happy at all. I will not recommend or use this again. We bought 3M thinking of your reputation. Disappointed

Works Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my go to tape when I paint. It goes on easily and stays on until I remove it. You can use this on your walls, wood, and even glass. When you remove it, there's no damage, unlike other brands. Just make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust before you apply it. When you apply it, press it down and secure it. Wait for about 20 to 30 minutes, and you're good to go. I use it on trim work and when I am making fine line designs on a wall. My hubby does paint and body work so he uses it on vehicles and boats before painting. We have never had an issue with bleeding. I trust the 3M brand.

This tape was the perfect tool for my project!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Scotch Blue painters tape to create dashed lines on the ceiling of my baby's nursery. The tape was strong and did a great job of protecting the color from bleeding onto the white ceiling background. Even with a textured surface, this tape did an excellent job and I would recommend it to painters and Do-It-Yourselfers out there! Further, I used the tape to help define the corners of the room and to paint a life size tree over the crib. The tape kept my lines straight and clean, with little touchup and a lot of peace of mind.
