Outside walls of freezer extremely hot
We just had the refrigerator delivered on November 20th, 3021.
The refrigerator worked right away and was working appropriately, however, we noticed that the outer walls of the refrigerator, right at the freezer level, are extremely hot.
After reading the reviews, we thought we would give it a few hours and once the condenser cools the refrigerator enough, it wouldn’t be so hot.
The outer walls of the freezer region continue to be very hot, and it is very concerning.
As it is Sunday, during Thanksgiving weekend, we can’t contact Lowe’s customer service, and would be contacting them tomorrow, Monday, as well as Midea for an appropriate resolution.

Not good in garage
I purchased this as a secondary refrigerator and wanted it for the garage. It was delivered in Sept of 2021 and seemed to work ok, but noticed that during hot outdoor temps, the refrigerator and freezer couldn't keep up and caused thawing in the freezer and spoilage in the refrigerator. After the colder temps of the winter season started, again it was attempted to be used and found that everything in the refrigerator froze. The extreme low temp in the freezer wasn't a problem. Now that we are in spring, it is difficult to keep the temp in the unit stable. Had no luck contacting the manufacturer about this issue.

Freezer didn’t work
Only had this for a couple weeks and we have to get it replaced. The freezer is not cold - it stopped working. We had to throw out everything we put in it. Very disappointing for a brand new refrigerator, and all that money on groceries wasted. The worst part is, we can’t get it swapped out. We have to return the broken one first, and then wait for a replacement to come. It’s all very frustrating.

Love Our New Refrigerator
We bought this as an extra refrigerator to maybe put in the garage or patio, since it says it is Garage Ready. The 4 casters make it easy for us to move when we change our mind where we want to keep it. The wire shelves are very sturdy and extremely easy to adjust. With the LED lighting we can see everything inside and the large clear crisper bins hold a lot of veggies and fruit.
When we first turned it on we noticed how quiet it runs. All I can say is, We Love It!

After reading some of the past reviews about terrible noise I was hesitant to purchase this brand but glad I did. We needed a simple fridge for some extra storage without paying for extra frills that no body cares about. There is no loud noises what so ever. In fact its the quietest fridge we've ever owned. The expensive Whirpool we just purchased is not quiet so price doesn't always mean best.

Price was very comparable to others, delivery was easy and quick to schedule, install folks however did not have complete order and did not want to take the old one that I had paid to have them take. They never completed unwrapping the fridge and hardly stayed long enough to plug it in and see if it worked.

It works well
I bought this to replace our really old one. We got it in and plugged in. I panicked when it didn't kick on right away. The light came on, but no sound, no motor, nothing. It took about 20-30 minutes after plugging it in for things to start firing up and blowing cold air. Its been a month now and not an issue. It is a spacious design, although I would like it more if it had on more shelf in the fridge, but it works great. It is bigger than I thought inside and I can fit as much as our old one in a slightly smaller space.

Best fridge I've ever had, assuming it lasts
This fridge seals very well; you can feel it and can see little things they've done to keep the cold air in. Once I got the controls to where I got the temperature I want, the temperature stays there. The sides are warm when it's running, like other fridges, but certainly not hot or capable of burning me or anything else. It looks great and uses space efficiently. I bought a fridge the same size by a big-name US company about 4 months ago. I think that one and this Midea were both made during the pandemic, I don't know where. The big-name one cost about double what I paid for this one, and it has lots of glitches, visible and invisible. It won't hold a steady temperature; it feels loose and leaky; its marking don't match its manual or make sense; AND they told me its warranty requires 3 things their techs can't fix before they will replace it. I think if they can't fix my thermostat, they need to replace the fridge even if the rest works. I don't have any of these or other issues with my new Midea, and as above, it was half as expensive.
