Use the instructions in the packaging, not on-line
I read up on the Regal product, so I thought, before buying. Went over the on-line instructions a bunch of times. What I did not realize is that Regal has different models and Lowe’s only caries one, the Classic.
I used the online dimensions which, as it turns out, are for the Regal (not Classic) model. I did not note the instructions that were printed onto the bags holding the rails - had black rails and in bright sunshine, did not notice the instructions on the bags. There are no instructions that accompany any other parts, just the rails.
As it turns out, there is a 1” vertical difference for pickets for the Regal versus Classic model.
Took me some effort to figure out assembly. Had a few extra holes as a consequence. Managed to figure it out, then noticed the instructions on the bag. Would be better if they included paper instruction in the packaging. Would have given more stars if it had been clearer on the website and had not had so much trouble.
Also, had to install the rails onto sloping steps so most difficult part was getting the posts to be vertical and the bolts aligned with the holes in the post baseplate.
So,... use the instructions that come with the rails, not those online.

Wish I had not purchased. The whole railing system is a complete rip off. Every piece is sold individually with no literature on what you need. Started installing the glass to find out you need little rubber bumpers so it fits properly. Complete rip off- set up to guage the end consumer for every single piece you need. Classic big business move ripping off its customer every possible way they can. DO NOT PURCHASE

Not recommend it for DIY
It quite costly. To get the full set for stair railing, you end up paying too much for it.
There is no instruction sheet for do it yourself. No videos posted on the website.
No pre wholes to show you how much should be between the upper and lower railing.
On putting it over a concrete stairs I used 3/8 X 3 anchor. After finishing installing the railing I found out the the post cover won't work as anchor head will little bit up.
