Emphasis on the Spot!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's definitely a spotlight. I enjoy the light and for exactly the right usage case I could see the value. For anything inside or in the same room it's far too focused and bright. Fun to play with outside or if you need to see something at a distance. The name "spotlight' is correct.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The all around best flashlight you can get. It lights up the entire field very bright. Idk where people get this has a red light when it doesn't. If you buy dewalt then you'll have batteries already. Most like feature is the fact that I can just swap batteries and keep going if I have to but it lasts forever. The best light money can buy.

Rugged Illumination
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I randomly picked up the Dewalt Jobsite LED Spotlight, and it's been a legit surprise. It's like the Swiss Army knife of lights in my life.
Camping? It's a night-saver. Crazy bright, and I can angle it wherever, so no more fumbling in the dark for marshmallows.
Work? Total rockstar. I've fixed more things in the garage after sundown than ever before. The thing is like my DIY sidekick.
Power outage? It's like having a personal sun. Seriously, it turns a blackout into a minor inconvenience.
I never thought a random purchase would become such a hero. If you're into camping, DIY, or just want a reliable backup light, this Dewalt Spotlight is the real deal. Highly recommended!

Don't want type two.
Wish you would have given the type 2 a different number. I use the red led at night gnats and other bugs don't seem to come after me, . I can also spot red eyes better.If the need arrises I can go to bright white. Was going to buy another one for the wife but type one are getting hard to find ...sorry for your loss.

The best light from Dewalt
A light that uses dewalt “tool” batteries, hands down the best money can buy. It’s insanely bright, I use it daily at night to check pastures, check animals and blind anybody who shouldn’t be near my property. This light has replaced so many handheld spot lights.

Very Bright
Whether you need a light to see in dark work places or just need a good outdoor spotlight, this light is a go to for either one. I keep one in my toolbox, one in my house, and one in my car because its such a useful light. It is very bright and can light up the dark outdoors.

Faulty Switch
This is my second job site light. The first has a red and white light. This light has a white low and high. My first light was so reliable I leave it in our RV and purchased this one to go back in the shop. After 3 months the switch began acting odd. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Light cuts off even with a full battery. I have tried every amp battery and there is no way to determine when or if the light will work.
I have tried to report this to DEWALT, I own over 30 DEWALT 12 and 20 volt tools and this is my first complete failure on a DEWALT tool.
