Very Modern Look
These outlets are a little more pricey than the standard/older version thats been around for decades, but the look is very modern and well worth the extra expense. I replaced the switches and outlets in my 24-yo townhouse with the square, modern outlets/switches and it made a huge difference in the look. Both products were worth the extra expenditure if you are looking to update the look of your room(s).

TOTAL DISASTER
I ordered 50 White, Contemporary Style Outlets. I received 35 Outlets so far. They were all supposed to be TR= Tamper Resistance. However only 2 were Stamped=TR on their face. 33 were White, Contemporary Style Outlets but NOT TR. (1 was Beige, Contemporary Style Outlet, the other is Beige but Old Style.) All Mini Boxes state TR however most outlet mini boxes looked previously opened. Some outlets were upside down in their mini boxes. The 8 lighted, white, contemporary style single pole switches mini boxes state lighted however no way to tell if they are the lighted switches until you install them. Good Grief, Charlie Brown!

Perhaps a bit too tamper resistant
I've wrapped up a project to update a bunch of old ivory colored outlets and switches (some of which weren't holding plugs well) to newer white decorator style types. Since the national electric code dictates tamper resistant outlets are to be used for most residential outlets, well, I opted for TR.
Since I live near both Lowes and it's major competitor, I've purchased an assortment of Cooper Wiring Devices -- which Lowe's sell in-store -- and the equivalent Levitons which the major competitor sells.
Overall, I think the Levitons are better for one significant reason and a pair of minor reasons.
The main gripe I have on the Cooper Wiring outlet is that it didn't allow us to insert our vacuum plug, where as the Leviton did. The issue is that the 'neutral' plug of the vacuum is ever so lightly longer than the 'hot' plug, of which the tamper-resistant mechanism is unwilling to accept. On the other hand, most of the other items I plugged in were accepted by both outlets -- namely, some Christmas lights and a electrical outlet tester.
As far as the minor points -- I think it was ever so slightly easier wrapping wires around the side terminals on the Levitons. Also, the Cooper wiring devices indicate that area of the metal frame near where you screw the outlet into the junction box can act as a wire stripper. You need to exercise a little caution as to avoid cutting your finger during install -- it didn't occur for me installing a Cooper outlet, but rather a couple of times while installing the similarly designed Cooper switches. The built in wire stripper was unnecessary for me as I purchased a tool to do the job.
That said, the two brands are otherwise of similar quality and are generally easy to install, but the fickle tamper resistance of the Cooper Wiring outlet had me opting for the Leviton that the competitor sells.
(Also, I had also installed Cooper GFCIs in the kitchen -- those did accept the vacuum, albeit with a little wiggling. Things like my toaster and coffee pot plugged in with no issue. The complaint is simply relevant to this particular plug model.)

Hard to install
The holes for wire hookup on the back are slightly to small for no 12 wire to be inserted for easier installation. I know that 12 is oversize for 15 amps but it is a safeguard for voltage drop in the long runs of a large house. I would use a 20 amp outlet but they are not available in 10 packs for price savings. Why not make a snap plastic cap over screws so the outlet does not have to be taped to protect the screws?

Worked perfect.
I had one oddball old outlet in the computer room and hadn't upgraded just because it was always in use. I finally decided to just die it and picked this up and it switched out shortly after arriving home. Though it's covered by a smart switch and battery backup my OCD feels better knowing it matches the other outlets. Being new it always holds the devices plugged in a bit snugger. I matched this outlet with the standard sized wall plate.

Great upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s better looking than the regular flip switch. But the nails are a little cheap. You can only afford to screw and unscrew so many times before wearing out the grooves in the nails. Otherwise it’s a really nice and easy upgrade.

Worked Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Piece works just fine, only problem with it is that I wish it had the ability to just insert the wire in the back instead of wrapping it around the nut. I was working with 8 gauge wire which is thicker.
