Affordable stove, perfect for pole barn.
The stove starts easily and runs without any issues. I do have the benefit of a straight up chimney pipe that is about 24 feet high. The draft with that chimney configuration is impressive. I get zero smoke coming into the room if I open the door. The insulating rope on the ash trap lid came off within a day of getting the stove installed. I got some 2000 degree sealant and put it back on. The rest of the stove has worked fine. I am able to warm a 40 by 50 pole barn with 16 foot high walls up to 60 to 65 degrees no problem. I have a second floor for about a third of the barn, the temp up there is 70 or higher. I may install a large ceiling fan at some point to push some warm air back down. The barn is insulated to an R-30 rating in the ceiling and walls. This is my first ever wood burning stove. My experience with it has been perfectly satisfactory.

Other than the blower being loud and the glass having to be cleaned more often than I'd hoped, it's a beautiful piece. easy to operate and heats excellently.

big stove for big jobs!
Bought this stove 3 years ago to replace a smaller model. Heated my 2200 sqft house with ease. When we lost electricity for a week, a small generator ran 4 fans and the whole house was as warm as I wanted. Burn small hot fires and the glass will stay clean. Keep drafts open all the way
