weak, junky, doesn't fit
Very disappointed to find that neither of the two rubbermaid joiners really fit the linen shelving being sold at lowes in 2018. The old closet maid joiners are also weak, but are much better than these and have been working well on similar shelving for over ten years. The new closet maid joiners don't work well on the current rubbermaid linen shelving either (and I'm not saying they should, but had to try something else since the rubbermaid ones were so bad). So, I guess the folks who are fabricating joiners on their own out of stronger materials are the only ones who are going to be able to join theses shelves for any kind of durable usage. Help me understand that I'm wrong and I'll delete or update this review.

Plastic parts break.
The cheap plastic joiner plates and wall clips break. Closet maid should use metal plates, for connecting the shelf sections.

While I don't recommend, what choice do you have if you have a Closetmaid system? Weak, breaks, leads to shelf system collapse.

Joiner Plate the Weak Link
I agree with the others. I just realized everywhere I used these plates is failing. Im unsure what to do, since Closetmaid does not offer a more robust option. :(

Plastic not metal
this replaces a part that is quite a bit larger and it is plastic not metal. I really had no alternative but to use this item, We'll see how it lasts.

Different but better than original part.
Although different than my old one (very old), this piece worked perfectly and is smaller and looks a little nicer.
