12" Pliers
These pliers grip well, are great for plumbing and gripping power. The variable adjustment works on many sized pipes and nuts and bolts. I like the blue plastic grips on the handles. They make it easier to hang on to the pliers. An overall good tool that I've used for years without any problems.

The Last Pliers You'll Ever Need to Buy
These are quality American Made pliers. The teeth hold their edge, the steel is hardened, and slips to the size you need. For $3.00 more you keep America working and get a great tool to boot.

The gold standard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's a reason certain brand names take over and become the de facto name for an entire product category. Do you ask for facial tissue or do you ask for Kleenex? Velcro, ChapStick, Band-Aid... And I'd put Channellock on the list. I looked at "tongue and groove pliers" from other brands and they were over-designed, silly, and festooned with style but not substance. The Channellock plier cost a bit more for a more plain appearance, but they're a simple, honest tool that's still made in the USA and get the job done. These are the pliers that will last decades and get handed down. Try to imagine how the handles on some other brands will age vs. these and the debate is over.

Same as always-great product
I have purchased many more of this tool. People keep "borrowing" mine and not returning it. I think that it is called the "five finger discount". I used this plier 6 times today and it always does the job that I need done. I am a professional swimming pool installer and this tool is like my hand...something used daily. Channellock makes the best. I own 4 sizes of this tool.

This is a very sturdy channellock. I have used it extensively since I purchased it, and it doesn't slip out of the grooves, etc. I would definately reccommend purchasing this product.

A must have
What's to say, their Channel lock. I'll lose them before they will wear out or break.

must-have tool for DIY plumbing jobs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had a leak under the kitchen. It was caused by a rusted pipe connecting part. With this tool, I replaced the rusted part with a $2 new part. It may cost hundreds if I hired a plumber to do the same.
