Awesome with no competition
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hammer drill is no joke my Knick name for it DHQ (Drill the Holes Quick) the reason is cause it has bail me out of many jobs in a quick time frame. I have used all brands of Hammer Drills like Rigid, Makita, Milwaukee etc.... But none of them can’t stand beside this DeWalt Hammer Drill. To me is the best accurate and durable tool in the market or business . DeWalt makes the best tools. My Dewalt Tool boxes where stolen from a job site. But I have re purchase the drill cause I’m in love with its functions, toughness & durability. Thank You DeWalt for making the right tools.

Most Power!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Years ago, my wife bought me a set of 20 V Dewalt tools which included a hammer drill. I used it for a very long time and when the lithium batteries came out I debated upgrading for years. When finally it was time to pull the trigger, I sold all of those tools (which were still working just fine) and replaced them with Bosch. I was so disappointed at how much less power these newer tools had. Quickly I sold all of the Bosch stuff and returned to Dewalt. I bought each separately so I would get more batteries. This is the best trail by far I have ever around. More powerful, relatively light weight and all-around better than everything else!

Great XRP replacement
After decades of use my XRP has finally given up so I needed a replacement. This was chosen first by my success with the XRP and the specifications listed for this brushless wonder. There is enough torque that the handle is welcome and required running augers through crossties. The 8 amp battery lasts an extraordinary time even under load. Not as heavy as the XRP to carry but seems to be as capable.

Excellent Hammer Drill
This kit came with a 8Ah battery and its fan cooled charger along with the hammer drill. The drill has a removable handle to hold the drill steady when working on cement. It does the work very efficiently with the large battery, yet not overly heavy. It also has a spot light to see the work in a low light condition if needed. It performs very well on the projects I had thus far.

Awesome drill, hammer drill function makes it great for tapcons, will power through wood with a 4" hole saw. Great drill, corded drill performance in a cordless.

Needs a hard case
This is a great hammer drill. I replaced a 20 year old hammer drill and it’s definitely a step up! My only complaint is that I have a shelf full of Dewalt tools in hard plastic cases. They stack neatly side by side. This comes with a canvas bag that is all but worthless.

A must have for any Tradesman!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an electrician, I have had my share of different power tools. I have tried everyone known to man, and i can tell you with absolute honesty and boldness, that no other brand compares to Dewalt. I have dropped my Dewalt hammer drill off of the tallest of tall ladders (on accident of course), climbed down and put the battery back in it, and it worked just as it should before the nasty fall. I've worked out in the rain, snow, and heat, and never have had a problem. So if you are looking for dependability, power, and a power tool that last as long as you do. I recommend you go for the brand that has proven time and time again, that you just can't beat, a dewalt power tool.
