Dad’s new favorite drill for any project
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this drill to replace an old off-brand corded drill for home projects and I love this new drill. The handle secures easily and the keyed chuck locks in my bits without any worry. I spent 5 hours of continuous operation taking paint & rust off of an antique bicycle from the 50s using wire wheels and it worked amazingly. Just today I used it to remove 9 small Phillips head screws in order to remove my child’s door because she is grounded for being mean to her brother. It was a breeze and now my daughter’s door cant be slammed anymore! Thanks Craftsman and to the salesperson who recommended the drill.

Must have for concrete
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holy crap don't waste your time with a regular drill trying to drill into concrete. This thing makes a regular drill look like a screwdriver. I drilled four more holes than I intended (but did need) because this thing made it so easy. 15-30 minutes with a regular drill (if you're lucky), less than 15 seconds with this. Not to mention, this drills so nicely that you don't move whatever it is you're trying to drill into the concrete (like t-molding housing).

Mix Mortar/Grout/Concrete-NO; Drill same-GREAT!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about 5 or 6 months ago. It died on Mon after my contractor's worker used it to mix grout....why do I still give it 5 stars....because as several 1-star reviewers said "it's not designed for that"...
It did great on the many holes we drilled into 6x6 treated lumber for the retaining walls, 4x4 treated lumber for raised garden beds, drilling through/into brick and concrete.
It has more than earned its rating. I would buy again in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend it

CRAFTSMAN 1/2-in Corded Hammer Drill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is excellent. Better than expected. It made my task of removed several bricks and cinder block from an exterior wall easy. I needed the hole-in-the-wall to install a new window. I used this to drill out the concrete for easy chiseling.

Great Value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a project in which I needed a corded drill out of necessity. While looking at the products, this product was slightly higher and I decided to purchase. It is light weight and powerful for a hammer drill. Highly recommend for the DYIer and light contractor use.

Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to help set our own parking stops in the parking lot at work. We needed a drill that could handle the concrete and this worked like a charm.

Great Drill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drill worked much better than the one it was replacing ever did and will be super for around the house jobs. My one problem with it (and the reason I deducted a star) was that the cord was 'slightly' short. I was able to fix that with an extension cord I already had, though.
