Fabriqués pour durer, le poteau et les nervures sont fabriqués en aluminium durable, la base de plastique robuste. Does the umbrella base requires a combination of sand and water or can it just water.
You would use either sand or water, but the base has 4 individual pieces that you could fill however you want. I'm using sand because I'm worried about the water getting gross over time.

Yes, this umbrella also comes in red and navy. The grey is a beautiful medium/dark grey tone, this is what I purchased and I love it.

Do you know how big the box would be for pick up?
I have a Pacifica and had to put down my captain and back seat on the one side and it fit perfectly.

Are we able to buy parts for this umbrella? One of the arms are broken on mine.
I pressed the light switch, located at the end of the frame to light the inside lights, does not work. The solar is not working either. Any suggestions?

Very Happy
Very happy with this umbrella. Box is big and bulky but light enough for 1 strong person to move. The instructions for the LED are very poor as it seemed to be for an older model. MAKE SURE THE SOLAR TOP UNIT IS PUSHED IN TIGHT BEFORE YOU TWIST TO LOCK.
After that, the LED ON button is discretely on the right branch when looking at the base. The LEDs are brighter plugged in but are good enough using solar.
The pivot and twisting mechanism works great. The base is very sturdy. Held down the umbrella no problem with just 2 base units filled with sand. It's not going anywhere with all 4 filled.

Amazing Value
Great umbrella, amazing value, extremely large canopy, sturdy base and frame. Beautiful deep grey tone for the umbrella fabric, LED lights are a bonus. Box is very heavy and requires two people to move.

Very happy with this patio umbrella!
After comparing many different brands and different stores in person and online for patio umbrellas, we purchased this one from our local Rona and so happy we did! The quality of fabric, metal pole and included base is excellent. A feature of this umbrella that many others do not have is the additional sideways tilting function adding to the up and down tilt and full 360 degree swivel around the pole. This allows us to adjust the umbrella angel throughout the day and eve for full shade coverage over our patio sectional. Was easy to install carefully following instructions for which bolts to use where. LED is extra feature though we are unlikely to use much after dark. Very happy that we bought this (at a great price on sale previously and now on sale again!)

So far so good!
I have been looking for the right umbrella at the right price for several years and this one is literally perfect! It’s easy to assemble (though heavy) and easy to lift with a finger once ready to use. There are led lights as well, you can use the plug or it charges all day with solar. The light switch is on the inside of the umbrella near the base. The base is HUGE so note that it will require it’s Own postal code lol. Very happy and love the color!

Well-Built Parasol - Not an Umbrella!
Bought this a month ago specifically to shield our BBQ so we can cook in the rain. 1st good rain and the water leaked through the fabric. If this is a sun shade only, it should be referred to as so. Umbrella instantly denotes waterproof, which it is not. I got this on sale for a good price, and it's sturdy and well-built, but for the purpose I purchased it for, it doesn't really do the job. I will check and see if it's supposed to be waterproof. if so, this one will be returned. If not, I'll try and Scotch-Guard the fabric or make some sort of waterproof cover I can put on top of the fabric. Like I said, an "umbrella" that leaks isn't an umbrella! It was easy to assemble, although some of the parts were already in place and made for some "Missing" moments. The Allen keys provided give more than enough tightening power for the screws and bolts. Once filled with water or sand the base weights (4) make the unit very stable and secure. They are quite heavy when full. Again, if I can fix the water leakage problem I will be very happy with this.

For an Umbrella - It's leaky!

I put half clothes pins in to hold the fingers down and give the upper fabric more tension. Seems to work. If this is a sun shade only, it should be referred to as so. Umbrella instantly denotes waterproof, which it is not. I got this on sale for a good price, and it's sturdy and well-built, but for the purpose I purchased it for, it doesn't really do the job. I gave it two applications of Scotch Gard (Took 3 cans) and the fabric now seems to be much more water resistant. An "umbrella" that leaks isn't an umbrella! It was easy to assemble, although some of the parts were already in place and made for some "Missing" moments. The Allen keys provided give more than enough tightening power for the screws and bolts. Great value for the price
Used for a month, good quality so far, easy to open and close. And the bonus solar light is better than I think, however the manual is totally wrong about it, also the switch of light is too hard to find in the rib!!! Like a puzzle aha!
