i bought two of these to replace 30+ year old originals that were cracked and yellowed.
overpriced, and they do poor job of diffusing the light. all you see is the florescent tubes shining through with little diffusion. not sure what's up with the green and yellow bands in the photo. they're only visible in the photo. the old ones with the little diamond pyramids did a much better job diffusing the light. these do look ok when the lights are off.
also, they're so flimsy that they sag visibly in the middle, 1/2" on one and 5/8" on the other.
if you buy these, check each one carefully. i saw a lot of cracked and chipped ones in the pile.

Easy to cut curves
We just replaced all of the old diffuser panels in our kitchen lights with these. Our design requires these sheets to be cut to size, including curves on one end and then being installed bent into a curved shape along the length. The material is easy to work with and, if you use the scribe tool designed for use with this material, it snaps off very precisely, even on the curves. The Lowe's installation video is helpful and worth watching.
Our old panels were clouded and discolored. With these new panels installed, we have greatly increased the amount light in the work space, so much so that we typically only run one of the two banks of lights in our kitchen now.

Sturdy Ceiling Panels!!
I ordered 5 ceiling panels online for delivery to my house and was very satisfied by how quick they arrived and none of the panels were cracked or chipped. These are more durable than the ones I had. These are the cracked ICE ones that I was hoping to receive. It doesn't say that in the description - it just says clear. They are the perfect size, the labels on the panels came right off without using Goo-Gone and they installed with no problems. I am completely satisfied with EVERYTHING!! Good job Lowe's!!

Good product, poor conditon
I really like the panels, unfortunitly I will have to return them for exchange. The panel were stored improperly before I bought them and we warped. I thought they might straighten out after a few days on a flat surface but no luck so back I go.

Good looking and works but fragile
The product is overall good but it is very fragile! Many of the sheets at the store were broken already. So when purchasing make sure to check them one by one. when working with them it was kind of hard as they broke easily.

This Duralens product is okay, but if I had my druthers I would not buy again. It's taken me at least a half hour for what should have been a 5 minute project.
The tag that Duralens puts on its sheets of plastic are make to stay on until the apocolypse.

Great ceiling light panels
These are the exact panels that our builder used when designing our kitchen fixtures. They have to be trimmed down a little for our use, but that's quite simple, taking just a few minutes. These panels are difficult to find anywhere except Lowes and are inexpensive. Everything we could find on-line was VERY expensive. These look good and frankly just blend in so you can forget about them.

Ok, but...
It said on it that it was guaranteed not to break, but of course, my luck, while maneuvering them into our ceiling fixture, one cracked in my hand! it was only about a 2 inch crack and I was tired of fooling with it, so I left it up there.
