Are the panels difficult to install?

Should you stain this product?
By the time you have stained it, it will have fallen apart and become kindling. One shouldn't burn treated wood, therefore, no....don't stain it

Is this vinyl fencing that looks lkme cedar
No, it’s cedar ...
But when I bought it they had to look at 10 different panels as a lot of the wood was splitting

Can these panels be installed the other way around so the boards are horizontal and 8 feet tall rather than vertical and 6 feet tall?
I cannot see why not. Just be sure to measure them as they are not 6' tall, only about 5'5"
Date de publication: 2019-05-12
How high is this fence? One review states that it is only 5'5" rather than 6' as advertised.
Yes they are only 5'5" Lowes website is incorrect.

Why is this product unavailable in Ontario?
Has this been treated with any chemicals? Is it safe for insects like bees?
Are these cedar fence panels made of all cedar construction? Or are the framing materials made of some other species such as spruce or pine?

Do not buy this product!
I am a carpenter with over 30 years of experience.
I called the Rona store and asked for an A grade panel as there are different grades of cedar panels. I was told that these are a very good product and they do not sell the cheaply made ones. These are garbage. The panels are only 3/8 thick which is to thin for a fence. Most fence panels are 5/8 or 11/16 thick. Six days after install they moved, split, twisted and large gaps appeared between panels. These panels were installed for safety around a pool. The panels will have to be removed and replaced as they are not safe and strong enough. Complete waste of our time and money.

Terrible product
Cheap and affordable for somebody looking for a 1 day lipstick reno. Boards shrunk enough in a day to open enough to pull out. 'Fortunately' one twisted so bad it wedged the others in but creates a nice window to neighbours.
The image shows a nice 5" wide verticals, but they are actually narrow and about 3/8" thick so flimsier than paper where there is a knot.
Just avoid until they pull them from the shelves and replace with a better made product.

Poor quality
Was really excited for these but these are very poorly made. Half of the panels we ordered had shrunk or were very fragile. One actaully broke during loading at which point we returned them before leaving the store.
The panels with the lattice top are much better, don't waste your time with these.

Don’t waste your money
The panels are poorly made. We had to reinforce the panels just to get them to stay together.

Don't even bother
Bought these a month ago and within a week they started to shrink and separate. Poorly made.

Not all cedar!!!
While the fence "pickets" are cedar, the frame is stained SPF, so will rot out!!!

Very disappointed with the quality
Bought 7 panels about a month ago. The panels are all shorter than 6feet, no solid, and most were already shrinking. You could see gaps in the boards.

Read Carefully : Panels are 5'6 ft. x 8 ft.
Quick delivery and the quality is fine. They are well built.
