For women only
It's a great little storage item for women's shoes but only 2.5 pairs of men's shoes fit side by side on it. My shoe size is 10 and it's not really useful for my shoes. For my wife however, who wears a size 6.5, it's a great little space saver.
Also, it's made for shoes, you can not stand on it or it will become garbage. It's compressed wood but the top shelf doesn't straddle the uprights, it two sits between the two uprights held in place by two screws. But then, it's meant for shoes not body weight.
I would recommend it to a female friend but not a male friend.

Met my needs perfectly
Got 4 of these to place along the base of my closet for shoes. Looks great and works perfectly- even holds my husbands size 13 shoes.

just the right fit
Easy assembly and is stackable! I used this for my Amateur (HAM) Radio Station to place my Radios and Antenna gear up off the desk! I do suggest if the items are heavy to brace the shelves with a metal strip or L-Brackets! Oh its works for shoes too! De WV1Q

Used on my desk...
I bought 2 of these in lieu of a desk hutch and they work great! Now I have some usable desk space and my clutter is neatly stored on these little shelves.

I bought 3 of these and they work great! So easy to put together and they look good too. I am using one for shoes, and two to add extra storage in a large kitchen cupboard.

It was exactly what I had been looking for.
This was exactly what I needed. I had been to a number of places and couldn't find this or any thing similar in the right dimensions. In exasperation I went online to Lowe's and found it! I should have known to go there first!

Useful for lazy folks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not many people (kids) like putting away their shoes in our house. I use this the most since I don't like climbing the stairs to their rooms to put the shoes away. I'll work on their training more I think. Practical and easy to put together. If you are even thinking you might need it, buy it. You'll wonder how you did without it. Two is even better but my wife wasn't keen on that so one it is.

Sturdy, easy to assemble
This item puts together easily and is sturdy. It was exactly the right size for what I needed it for which was a key factor in this purchase. Also, the price was reasonable compared to similar items elsewhere.
