Description
Cet appareil 2-en-1 de Craftsman(MD) est à la fois un niveau laser autonivelant et un détecteur de montants. D'une précision de 1/8", ce laser a une plage visible de 20'. Offrant une référence automatique pour les lignes angulaires, il est également pourvu d'un canal de marquage central pour identifier l'emplacement des montants. Cet appareil est vendu avec un support mural et deux piles AA. Ce produit est couvert par une garantie à vie limitée.

Great tool until it breaks
I Purchased this tool and use it for a couple months. It worked great until the wall hanger broke while being pushed into Sheetrock. The metal pin that hangs it to the wall is very cheaply constructed. I am unable to find a replacement, rendering the tool completely useless. Very frustrating when they know this is a problem but they don’t sell the replacements. I would look for another option until they are able to fix this problem.

high quality stud finder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how it gives a visual response for how close you're getting to the edge of the stud and an auditory indicator once you've reached the edge. the laser leveler was easy and useful as well.

Limited functionality...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laser level does a fair job at doing what the manufacturer claims it does. I purchased in hope of being able to use this to project a diagonal line along a wall. However, the second it is rotated out of level, the laser guides disappear. Making it impossible to project lines if out of level. Ended up using my Bosch to get this job done. If all you're wanting to do is throw a horizontal, level line, this is a good choice.

DO NOT BUY - It will break
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product comes with a plastic attachment fitted with a nail that should allow you to push into your wall and then hang the level. In theory this is a great idea, in practice with cheap materials it does not work. On the first try the nail bent, I had even made a pilot hole. I have used the previous version of this level, which was made with sturdier materials, and had great success. Very disappointed in a craftsmen tool.

flimsy hanging pin
This product has so much potential but the hanging pin is a dealbreaker. I purchased this for the purpose of painting a long horizontal stripe. The self leveling mechanism makes life easy, and the length of the beam is decent. The device is hung on the wall by pushing a pin (like a thumbtack) into the wall and hanging from it. It's very thin, and on the second time that I hung it the entire thing bent and broke off, rendering the pin mechanism useless. Now, you can hang the level via a wire nail, but that's not the point - a brand new product should not break on its first use. To make matters worse, the pin made a chip in my wall significant enough to necessitate a small patch.
I think this device would be excellent if the hanging pin mechanism was improved. As is, I'll be returning it.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an apartment so I’m not allowed to put a lot of holes in the walls. This laser/stud finder has been a godsend. I am able to find exactly the location I need so I don’t keep putting unnecessary holes in the walls. It’s nice to finally know that the pictures that I’m hanging up or actually street without having to hang them up repeatedly. Being able to tell exactly what type of stud I am finding has been extremely helpful and knowing where the electric is in the walls has kept me from doing something dangerous. Just like all other craftsman products, this tool has saved me lots of time, money, and anxiety.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Craftsman self leveling laser last week. It arrived at a perfect time, as I am currently working on a few home improvement projects. The leveling laser is sturdy and well built. It runs on 2 double A batteries, which are included. It is a versatile tool, as you can use it to detect studs, locate live AC wires, and of course the auto leveling feature. The best feature, in my opinion, is the "push pin" on the back side of this leveler. This feature allows you to use the "push pin" to hang the leveler on the wall (and use the laser in a couple of ways, such as hanging art). Overall, I recommend this auto leveling laser.

Easy to use and works great Except...
I love this laser and level in one! Perfect, except I broke the drywall pin off the wall attachment piece and they dont sell replacements for the wall attachment. Without it, the tool is rendered useless for the very thing I loved it for! Am I missing something? I can't find a replacement option anywhere.
