Good set of cutters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decent set of cutters, but the blades are a bit soft. Needed sharpening after just a few 12ga (200 strand) wire cuts. I use these mainly for snipping zip tie ends off at their base and for that purpose they're great.

Won't cut anything
I needed a pair of wire cutting pliers that were small that's all just small cutters, you guys use to carry good pairs of cutters on the shelves with the network or the low voltage items. Because it must have become a non-essential item you did not have what I wanted and these so-called cutters of a Craftsman tool are worthless to use.

Not as good as the old (worn out) one I returned
This is the smallest diagonal cutter available from Craftsman today. The cutter I had to return had become ineffective at trimming the small wires as I replaced Ethernet (RJ45) connectors. Often requiring two cuts to complete the snip. However that cutter was near a decade old. This brand new cutter (though you could not see the problem because of the packaging) cuts at the tip, but not at the pivot point.

I love my Craftsmen cutting pliers.They are just the right size for my big hands yet comfortable so that my wife can use them with no problem. They're a well made hand tool as well as being very durable yet lightweight. I recommend them to my family,friends & to anyone who ask what kind of cutting pliers should they buy.
