Always jams
Spend the extra money for a better product. I bought this to hang 1000 feet of insulation in a garage I just built. It constantly jammed using the 1/4 inch Bostitch staples it recommends. Spent most of the day trying to get the jammed staples out and taking it apart. Should have been able to complete the job in just a few hours. So frustrated, I'm taking it back and paying the extra for a better quality stapler to finish the job even though I theoretically only have less than an hour left of work to do.

Don't bother
When it works, it works really well. But it gets jammed frequently and after less than 100 staples, it got jammed for good. I finished the job with my old staple gun.

HEAVY DUTY is an understatement
Puchased this to tack 30# felt on a roofing job. So heavy and heavy duty, one has to be careful not to blow through the felt and countersink the staples. The 1950s house I was working on even had some oak plank sheathing mixed in with the pine, bends nails left and right, but this thing sunk staples in it like it was balsa. The grip is wonderfully thick and tacky.

I Hope Ya' Like Jammin' Too!
Total disassembly required about every 100 staples or so to remove jams. You'll need open end wrench, allen wrench, hammer, picks, flat bladed screwdriver, and a well lit flat surface to work on.
Or you could buy an Arrow.
But if you really like jammin' this is the hammer tacker for you!

Worst tool I have ever bought
I have yet to get a single strip of staples run through this stapler without a jam and it is difficult to clear. After clearing a dozen or more jams, I threw it in the trash.

Didn't Last Long
You load staples and insert spring -loaded pusher rod which latches at the back of the tool. When the rod come unlatched and flys off as it is prone to do, it can travel a long way and if you are outside you may not find it again. Such was my fate. Bostiich doesn't carry the part, ie, the tool becomes a throw-away.

Manual Hammer Tacker
Very disappointing, took the first one back and gave a second one a shot at the title. It failed also, completely jammed within one strip of staples.

More jam than Smuckers.
The boss bought two of these for a tyvek/ siding job. Gave one to the new guy, it jammed in five minutes. I figured he was doing something wrong, same thing happened to me with the second one. Going to return this today and buy a real ARROW stapler.
