Excellent design and ergonomics
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw to replace one I lost at work. Blade replacement and tensioning is easy, works well. I probably overtighten my blades, but no problem so far. It cuts good and straight. And the handle/grips are easy on the hands!!

best hacksaw i ever used.
I thought that since i didnt use one much,after 40 years of using my old $6.00 dollar stan by,and years of nuckle busting,blade bending or comming off if i dropped it.I decided to buy this one,i could have kicked myself in the tail because this should have been what i used long time ago, alot of thought went into the making of this saw, thanks Mr Lenox.

Great saw but watch for quality control issue
My first high quality hack saw. Decided to buy after cutting some 1/8 aluminum with a basic Stanley saw (Lennox blade). Not a major task, but after reading reviews of high tension saws, I thought I could cut better with this saw. And correct. Able to cut faster and hold cut line much better. Just can't tension those basic saws enough. The down side: make sure you check that you can release the blade before leaving store. As a review on another site mentions, the quality control at Lennox leaves much to be desired. Got home and the blade would not release. The pivot arm that tensions the blade is to long near the pin on some items. If you don't see a gap between the arm and the frame (see photo), get another. Two out of the four on the rack were bad. The blade should easily release upon loosening. Clerk indicated I wasn't first return for this problem. Tightening. I was concerned about tightening the 12 turns recommended after reading other reviews here. Cut fine with 10. Plus, 12 turns from what? I started counting from point I just was able to slip on blade. There are no directions on package, nor on Lennox website. Come on, it may not take a genius to load and tighten a hacksaw, but a couple of sentences on the package would help.

Good saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m like everyone else hack saws never saw strait. I had much more success with this saw . I cut 1/8” angle iron both sides at once and both sides would be pretty much square. If you don’t know how to keep your blade strait vertically it won’t cut strait.

Excellent hacksaw

Sturdy frame but blades dull quickly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have yet to find a hacksaw as rigid as this one and I really like using it. However, the included blade really does not stay sharp for that long when cutting steel EMT that's why I only gave it 4 stars.

Good Quality w/ Nice Features
I like the idea of on saw blade storage but it is somewhat unwieldy to insert and remove blades from the saw body. The easy blade tightener is also very nice. The frame seems very solid and should lasta long timewith the TLC. The eeoverall weakpoint seems to be the pins that hold the blades in and allows proper tensioning. These pins seem a little soft and are quite exposed and subject to getting damaged in typical use (i.e., tossing in tool box, dropping, rummaging around amonst other tools, etc).

Strong Saw, Good Cutting
Performed well cutting plastic columns and galvanized pipe. I had to call the manufacturer to get blade removal instructions, the arrow on the handle wasn't obvious to me, no on-line instructions.

Maybe it was more than what we needed for the job. I haven't used it on anything else yet, but I think it would handle well on bigger jobs.
