Description
Obtenez des tissus complètement propres à tout coup avec cette laveuse à chargement frontal Maytag ainsi que son programme de lavage intensif et sa fonction de puissance accrue. Le bouton d'augmentation de la puissance Extra Power s'utilise avec n'importe quel programme de lavage. Cette fonction s'attaque à de nombreux types de taches grâce à un lavage à deux températures. Cet appareil comporte plusieurs cycles pour vous faciliter la tâche, dont un cycle rapide pour les petites brassées et un cycle de désinfection qui utilise une température très élevée afin d'éliminer 99,9 % des bactéries. Tous ces cycles se jumellent à l'option Fresh Hold, spécialement conçue pour conserver la fraîcheur des vêtements propres dans la machine à laver. Pour ce faire, un ventilateur interne et un culbutage intermittent font circuler l'air dans les vêtements jusqu'à un maximum de 12 heures après la fin du cycle. Pour terminer, l'essorage intensif permet d'extraire encore plus d'eau des tissus et accélère l'opération de séchage. Cette machine à laver est couverte par une garantie limitée d'un an sur les pièces et la main-d'œuvre et une garantie de 10 ans sur les pièces du moteur.

I need to stack the washer and dryer, Model MHW5630HW and Model YMED5630HW to meet space limitations. Does the Maytag stacking washer and dryer have to be installed in a closet with walls on either side? Or is it safe to have a wall on only one side?

Love my new washer and dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this set a couple of months ago to replace a 10-year-old washer dryer on it’s last legs. I absolutely love this new combination and find it does everything I want. I’ve played around with the different settings and found what works best for us. I really like the front loader. Our clothes do not get knotted around the agitator, the problem with my previous top loader. I would highly recommend this to anyone on the fence about this purchase. The delivery was seamless and efficient and I would definitely recommend Lowe’s! I did add in the pedestals and very glad that I did... a lot less bending.

Dreadful. Don't waste your time.
Firstly.... I like Maytag. We have a washer and a dryer that are both ten years old and have done very well. But.... the washer has gone on the fritz. It requires too many parts to warrant economic repair. So... we bought this Maytag to replace it. Look's good. But it's a better dancer than Fred Astaire. Talk about shake rattle and roll. Clank, clank, clank against the inside of the machine housing during the start of the spin cycle. The drum really does move a lot, suggesting bad suspension underneath. We did three wash loads in all and decided it wasn't for us. We got GE Model #GFW550SSNWW Washer instead. Brilliant. No looking back.

Leaves Clothes Too Wet to Put Into the Dryer
We bought this for a house we remodeled so it had to wait for us to finally move in. Have used it for less than a year and always the same problem ... the water never drains out of the clothes. They are always soaking wet and too heavy to put in the dryer so I have to run the Spin/Drain cycle for every load I wash.
My husband opened and "cleaned" the drain ... there was nothing in it. It was a completely PIA since we stacked them and there is NO front empty on the machine. I HATE this thing. If it was under warranty I'd send it back! Love the matching dryer we bought with it but the washer is a complete lemon!

This Maytag was bought Christmas Eve. It wasn't delivered until Jan. 26, 2019. The first wash was great, but then it stopped on the delicate cycle and started blinking. We had to use drain and spin to complete the cycle. The it did it with every cycle after that. We had someone come and unplug it and plug it back in. It continued to do that. Figuring it was just a lemon, we got the same one. Being that the new one wasn't coming for a couple weeks, we received a loaner washer. The new one came yesterday and it is doing the same thing. It is either stopping and blinking or just running and wasting hot water.

The wash cycle sometimes never stops
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We thought maybe it was a fluke, when a "normal" wash was extended for an extra hour... but then we did a light load with just a handful of items and the washer displayed said 1 minute left for three hours. We then tried again, it stayed at 3 minutes for 15 minutes so we stopped it, reorganized the clothes to spread them out, and then started it back up again and it kept washing for another hour and a half before we just decided to stop it. It is a great looking washer so we were very disapointed that it would not work... or rather, would work endlessly without stopping.

Purchased this machine in August ‘19. It leaks. It’s had two service calls with a third one pending. In a couple of weeks, they will replace the bellow for the third time claiming that it’s ripping and creating the leaking.
We called Maytag to request a replacement machine. They refused and said they don’t replace faulty machines; they only repair them. This machine clearly has a manufacturing flaw that will continue to rip the bellow.
If Maytag won’t stand behind their product, and have no regard for customer satisfaction, we will never purchase another Maytag or Whirlpool appliance.

Don’t buy this,
Had to get a machine quickly. Great price, looks nice but very deceiving. Only ran 5 loads in 1 week. First load, machine shut itself down before finishing cycle. Second load, third load did Not drain. Fourth load and fifth load, received errors (o0). I tried normal cycle, quick cycle without success. It keeps allowing more and more water but would not drain properly. Very loud machine with a Lot of sensor flaws. This was a lemon from the start. Returned it and selected Whirlpool machine which is quieter, cheaper and more efficient. What were they thinking with this machine?

Still Learning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it this month when my Bosch machine after eleven wonderful years, died. I'm still figuring the Maytag out--seems to have a lot of room-but at the same time, it is less able to spin without getting unbalanced if I put in a full load, as if the capacity exceeds its ability to handle the load. I'm putting this down to my learning process ...and keep consulting the manual and experimenting with settings. So far, I'm on the fence, although the quality of the wash is good, the time it spends washing is long and I worry about energy inefficiency. Time will tell how fond I become.
