Danson customer support has been inadequate indicating they would ship me a whole new string and never came through. Did not bother responding to follow-up either. Most unfortunate to throw away as I liked the look and the lightweight design. So be prepared to throw away as a single bulb failure will bring down entire string and is not practically repairable.

Hi Bob66, I have an update. I went to Lowe's to purchase these lights today and upon inspection I would have to say that these should be considered "disposable". The cages you see in the picture are a flimsy plastic and to remove it to change the bulb you have to pull the end of each "wire" out of were it snaps in. These, in my opinion, are not going to last. Keeping the "wires" out of the way while you try to screw the bulb back in was a challenge. The sale price is right even if they are disposable if you are okay with that decision. I did not pull all the lights out of the box at the store because I knew I would not get them back in, but I did not see the replacement bulbs the manufacturer told me about. The only thing referenced on the box was that a replacement fuse was included, nothing about bulbs. I decided not to purchase.
