No filters to replace and does the job well
So refreshing to have a humidifier where I don't need to replace filters all the time. Contrary to what another user posted, I found this unit easy to clean - just drop the disc wheel in a bucket with some water and CLR at the end of the season for a couple of hours, rinse it off, and pop it back in. Humidity output is comparable to my old flow through which truly was a nightmare to maintain in comparison. I like that this unit is efficient in its water use as well. Flow through models waste a ton of water. And don;t get me going about the disgusting sponge models...

Worked fine for many years
Had it for several years. It works fine with my hard well water. I do have to clean it every season and put calcium stuff in the water container to keep it flowing well. I don't have to buy a new pad every year. I like it and would recommend it.

Very hard to keep clean, builds up with calcium.
Very hard to clean. Motor and float is always getting replaced.
