Good experience for first time user
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lucky us....we bought this generator 3 days before we lost power at our house for almost 4 days. It worked as expected and was easy to start. One user error problem when we over-filled the gas tank (it kept shutting down), but that was fixed easily by some siphoning. Gas consumption was as expected and seemed reasonable. This generator powered our refrigerator, wifi, computers, phone chargers and a table lamp. Only complaint is that my husband's computer shut down every time the refrigerator motor started up -but my laptop worked with no interruption. Very pleased with this purchase.

New Generator
I have not actually used this item yet. I have however put in the required fluids and ran it for approx. 30 minutes to break it in. It took quite a few pulls to get it to start. I assume it was because it took some time for the fuel to fill the carburetor. When I began shopping for a generator in this size range there were many options to choose from. I always thought I would end up with a Honda, because of their top ratings. However, after comparing, this Westinghouse was pretty much the same as the Honda in all categories i.e. noise, weight, warranty, etc. and considerably less expensive. Time will tell if I made the right choice...

Great Value, Very quiet
I bought this generator about two years ago but just opened the box. I followed the manufacturer's instructions before I started it. I added the oil that came with it and filled the gas tank with regular unleaded gas. I pulled the coil slowly and gently for about 4-6 times then after 2 more quick pulls the iPro2500 started. I ran it for 1 hour with no load then shut it off. Two days later I changed the oil, topped up the gas and ran it again for an hour with a box fan plugged in. So far so good. During both runs the sound was very quiet and steady. I will be running it again for another hour with some additional load.

Factory assembly issues, but it runs well
I purchased this inverter in order to run 2 sump pumps in case of power outage.
I tested it on a 1/2 horsepower sump pump, a vacuum cleaner, and a very large air compressor. Each item was tested individually, and only the air compressor had a stall before it tried to start.I don't think it was a fair test to try it on the air compressor since turning over that motor is equivalent to running a large air conditioner.
the sump pump kicked on immediately and ran without a problem. The household vacuum cleaner started on both regular mode and economy mode.
I'm pleased with my purchase, since it seems like it will do exactly what I hoped it would

Once it ran...
Out of box everything was great. Filled with supplied oil, and fueled up. Tried to start but wouldn't start, didn't seem to be getting fuel, nothing in float bowl. Kept trying but nothing. After it sat about ten minutes, it started but was running bad and ran about 3 minutes then died. After that it would only run with choke on then die after about 20 seconds. Finally about the fifth attempt i took fuel cap off after it started and it ran with choke off and was running good. I reinstalled fuel cap and it stayed running. I ran it for about 20 minutes for initial break in. Going to change oil and hopefully it will run again with no hassle.

I bought this unit to replace a twenty-five year old Coleman generator (non inverter type) to be used in emergencies and for charging batteries in my center console boat. The directions say to loosen the gas vent cap and the iPro2500 did not have that feature, so the owners manual needs be updated to reference the newer gas cap. Filled the gen with oil and gas and fired it up. It started on the third pull. I then let the engine warm up and then ran it through it paces, running an pancake size air compressor, 1500w heat gun (not at the same time), gen set did well. It appears to be a very well made unit and I would recommend it as an item to purchase.

I ordered & received this Inverter Generator thru Lowes Store. I read multiple reviews for this product which were all positive. So i prepped this unit by quick start sheet and it ran on first pull. Ran unit for 30 minutes with a light Led load. Gen ran perfect, started a log book to keep track of maintenance. I am very happy with unit, and it does run very quiet in ECO Mode. Noise is a low tone and 75 db at unit and about 65 db around 20 feet away. I still need to take more readings, today it decided to snow. I want to come it to my Generac 12kw open frame. Thank you Westinghouse for building a quality portable gen. One look inside and you will agree. I rate this 5 stars.

Straight To The Point ... Makes Quiet Power!
I bought it to do several things:
1. Augment solar power to my RV
2. Recharge RV batteries when sun isn't available
3. Run my power tools off-grid
It does all three! It doesn't have the high price tag many other inverter generators have, and it gives me both more startup and running watts. The build quality is high and the labeling is clear. Additionally, I was surprised at how easy it was to get to things once the cover was off. I've had open frame generators that were more difficult.
Bottom line, would I recommend it to my friends? Yes.
