These are the BIGGEST RIPOFF
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These water filters are the biggest rip-off ever. Feels like Frigidaire knowingly makes a crappy product to force you to buy them more often (AND they're very expensive!). The original filter that came with our fridge worked great, but every replacement we've had since has been horrible. After about 6 weeks, the water flow slows to just a trickle. This has happened with every single replacement filter we've had (at least 5). Not to mention, we've now have two that have cracked, leading to a flood in our fridge. Never been so unhappy with a product and will always avoid Frigidaire appliances in the future.

Slows to a trickle after about two weeks
I've had a fridge with this filter for two years and have completely given up on these useless filters. I went through three of these filters in the first six months. The pressure is fine for about a week, so-so for about a week, and completely useless after that. I don't have any other restrictions on my system causing low pressure. The problem is the filter. Our water tastes fantastic out of the tap, so literally the only thing I need this filter to do is complete the plumbing inside the fridge so the water feeds into the icemaker and comes out the dispenser. It fails to meet even that very low bar.

Unlike other reviewers, I've never had problems with my filters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my refrigerator when I bought my house almost two years ago. I replace the filters roughly every six months. I live alone and don't use a whole lot of water, so this may be the difference, but I have not experienced the issues other reviewers have experienced with the filter not allowing water through at a reasonable rate. I've also never had one crack or break. I have had no problems whatsoever with mine. My only beef is the cost. They are expensive. Even if you have them on a subscription plan.

Doesn’t last
I bought a new home in 4/2020 and the fridge was a package deal in the home with new filter. We replaced the filter 10/2020 and now we are having to replace again after 2.5 months due to no ice and slow trickling water. There is no way we used 200 gallons and it certainly hasn’t been 6 months. The price of these filters is ridiculous if I have to replace them every 2 months. My kenmore fridge was great and only replaced the filter every 6 months. Probably switching my fridge brands soon

One Month ONLY!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replace every 6 months? Yeah right! These filters last for a little over ONE MONTH ONLY! My purchase history reads 2/23/20; 4/2/20 and now today 5/6/20. Makes no sense. I don't use the water function on my fridge at all, but I use the ice constantly. The fridge literally slows down and finally stops making ice after 4-5 weeks of each filter replacement. No way in the world you'd get away with only replacing every 6 months. You can try, but you won't have water or ice for 4-5 months of the 6! Feels like I'm spending a fortune. The ice is definitely delicious though!

Only lasts a few weeks
I would give these filters ZERO STARS if I could. I am single and living alone, so I'm not overusing the filter. I also live in a brand new apartment building in New York City, so there is not some obscure plumbing or hard water issue. Each time I install a new filter, it works fine with adequate water flow for about 2-3 weeks. Then the water will slow to a tiny trickle. and barely any ice will be made. As you can see with other reviews, this is a common problem. Yet all Frigidaire will do is apologize, suggest your water might be too hard, and send a Youtube video explaining how to properly install. What they should be doing is studying these filters to find out exactly why everyone is experiencing the same problem. Because the filters work fine initially for 2-3 weeks, this suggests that people are not having plumbing or problems with their individual refrigerators. Something goes wrong with the filters, and you don't need to approach anywhere near 200 gallons or 6 months of use as the manufacturer suggests. Please make a superior product Frigidaire! Listen to your customers! Thank you.

Slow Water Flow
I’ve purchased this filter several times. It never lasts me more than 4 to 6 weeks max before the water flow is so extremely slow that I was to buy another filter again. It literally is taking me 2 minutes to fill up a 16oz water bottle. This is costing me more money than to just buy bottled waters because it needs to be replaced so frequently to get full water flow.

Not working after 2-3 weeks
I have bought this filter for our new fridge 3 times in 4.5 months, the water comes really slow after just 2-3 weeks. It’s bad that we need to replace it often spending around $40 every time.
