Cutting Shower Tile
We had to replace the bottom 1/4 of our shower tiles due to backboard rot and I purchased this bit to cut complicated lines out of 4.25" ceramic tile placed around the edge of the tub and fixtures.
It worked well for about 3/4 of our job, and then suddenly got so dull it wouldn't cut through a single tile. We probably made about 30 cuts before having to replace the bit. Considering this product cost around $11 I was sorely disappointed in its durability and performance. I replaced it with an off-brand right next to the Dremel bits, which costs about $5.
If you can avoid it, skip this expensive, low quality bit and save half your money by looking a few feet down the aisle.

Don't expect this to cut much
Bought this yesterday, used it to cut part way through a tile, and the bit was good for about 20cm's worth of work, but then the bit seems to have gone blunt and does nothing more than start to glow red hot.

great for composites
ive had the same bit for several years in a manufacturing environment. this bit has held up great i use it on mostly carbon fiber which will dull most bits in a day and this thing mows right through it. i have cut through 1/4 fiberglass with relative ease. not what its designed for but best tool i have found in 8 years of composite work.

Disappointing
I need to punch a small hole through 3/8 in porceline tile. The bit does not cut very well at all, either dry or wet.

Did not cut wall tile
Descriptions here and on Dremel's website list this for wall tile, but it didn't work for me. Tried to be patient, but this bit does not go through it, just got red hot and smoked like crazy. I ended up using the grout bits to go around the tiles and removed them whole, then used a different cutter to cut them. Don't buy this to cut tile.

Very good
Tried this in the bathroom, cut like crazy. Did a few more projects then cut a bottle, the end. Doesn't cut glass. When I cut tile or stone it was very good.

Not Great
I bought it to cut some opening on tile for my shower. This tool wasn't able to anything. I end up burning it after 1'' of cut.

Unfortunate
The guy at the store really talked this bit up, bought it and tried it for backsplash and it would not cut at all, just cracked the tiles if it did anything at all. I cannot recommend this product for doing a backsplash.
