Modified it for a standard chuck
This drill bit is for a quick release chuck. I had to cut about an inch and a half off of the chuck end of it. If you don't it will wobble in a standard three prone chuck. After the modification it works great.

excellent bit for brick
Used bit to borrow six inches into brick and mortar. The bit stayed cool and cut six perfect holes without slowing down!

masonry bit
I needed to bring an electric cable from an interior wall space thru a brick wall. This bit cut through the 4" brick in seconds using a DeWalt hammer drill which I also bought at Lowe's.

The Bulldog
Got 'her dun. I needed to drill a hole in a cinderblock and a brick. It was about one inch. I needed to stock a 1/2 PEX pipe in there for an outdoor faucet. I do my homework. I looked at the videos on YouTube. I researched some products. This is what I needed. I had seen videos of people doing a 1/4 inch hole first, then 1/2 inch and then finishing it up with the 3/4 inch, but I didn't want to buy all those drill bits. I only needed it for one job. But I was concerned about how this would perform.
I suffer from anxiety so I worried about this. But when I did it, this drill bit went right through it, not quite like butter, but pretty darn good. It took about a minute to go through the cinderblock and the brick, and it made a beautiful round hole that is the perfect size for my PEX. It was a pleasure working with this drill bit.

Great bit that stayed sharp.
I needed this bit to drill holes in concrete for installation of a safety cover for an inground pool. The process involved drilling 40 holes to a depth of 2 inches. I was worried after reading other reviews that the bit might dull before completion. I was pleasantly surprised that it stayed sharp and is still in excellent condition with plenty of life left for future projects.

Have used better drill bits
Used one time and drill bit was totally useless by the time I was done. Had to drill a few 1/4" holes so this 3/4" bit would get threw concrete and 1/4" bit is still good. This 3/4" bit might drill a butter bar if soft.

Piece of junk
Keeps loosening the chuck on my Dewalt hammer drill and WILL NOT stay tight in the chuck! Worst butt design I've seen. Has 4 indentations but most drill chucks only have 3 "fingers" to latch onto the bit.

Disappointed
This drill bit didn't get the job done. After one hour of drilling, I didn't even make it through one inch of concrete. I am thinking about returning it for a refund.
