No installation instructions.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There were no instructions on the filter that came with the fridge other than to remove the plastic. It did not say whether to put the side with the holes in the cardboard facing forward or backward. It fits either way, so it's a guess. It is NOT obvious.

This is the proper filter. Works great.
Some reviews say this product is wrong. It is the right filter. The instructions are wrong. To install you have to remove the filter from the cardboard holder. The instructions do not show this.

this is a refrigerator air purifier
This is one of the first fridgerator air purifers i have ever seen I think that it does help keep the fridge smelling very clean. I like it very much.I do think they could be a little cheaper. You half to change every 6 months,17.00 is enough money to pay.

IS NOT THE CORRECT PART!!
If you look at your original filter, the air passes through the filter. The factory replacement part does not allow the air to pass through the filter as it is only open on 1 side??!! I have tried to tell Fridgaire of this problem, and they say if you purchase the filter from them it would be right. I think it would be the same, but harder to return!
Think I'll use A&H baking soda!

I was sold this for my Frigidaire Gallery frig and I had to crush it to get it in the holder. I think it's imoprtant thou to eliminate odors.

No instructions
No instructions on how to install. The filter is in a cardboard box with holes cut out on one side and the other side has no holes cut out. Not sure which way the holes should be facing. Even a couple of Youtube videos I watched inserted the filter differently.
