The best combo kit you can buy
I bought this kit just to have it to use around the house. Recently I did a remodeling job fro a friend it end up using every single tool in this kit. The drill and the impact driver are the amazing and the saws are very powerful to the point that I did not need any other saw to do the job. The batteries last very long, even with constant use and charge fast. Over all I am supper happy with DeWalt. Since I have the 2 batteries that come in this kit, I added the jigsaw and the grinder to complete my kit. I must saw they work use as good.

Very good tool set for the homeowner
I bought this tool set after doing some research and finding that this set has a few features better than Dewalt's other 5 tool sets. I use the tools as a homeowner on basic maintenance and projects around the house and find it to be great. The 20v batteries are light enough and robust enough for my jobs. I do put one battery on the charger the moment it runs low if I am doing a lot of work. The reciprocating saw has the ability to orient the saw blade in 4 different directions and the circular saw has basic adjustments to make the tool adapt to various cutting needs. The impact driver is great and the hammer drill is good as a drill but not so useful trying to get through concrete.

Purchased DCK590L2
Had been saving up for quite some time and saw that Dewalt had the $80.00 rebate for the 20 Volt 5 piece kit, so I was able to talk the wife into letting me buy. Submitted the rebate and it returned as not valid. Come to find it was for the DCK592L2. I just saw the 20 Volt kit that Lowes had and I did not realize the 590 was not eligible. Be careful if a Lowe's has the older kit still on the shelf as the 592 reciprocating saw has a 4 way mount versus just the straight mount for the one I received. Also the circular saw did not have the magnesium shoe that the 592 kit has. So I did not get the rebate, paid more for the 590 and got less. That's the negative for not paying attention and that's my fault. The positive is for what I do, it will be fine with the saws and I'm really impressed with the power and battery life. The impact driver is great for drilling screws for building the wood deck and should be a staple for anyone's shop. We had a power outage and light worked great. Set it to shine straight up and it illuminates the whole room and for many hours. The circular saw seemed slow to me, but cut some 2x4's Ok, just let it do the work. Certainly not close to an electric saw. Only time will tell how long the batteries will last before replacement but enjoy working with them and they make any job much easier.

Great Product
I have had this product for over a year and used each many times. I lay the tools out in my tool box for home use and just put them all in the bag if I need to go do a good somewhere else. I have purchased several attachments that make using the tools even more useful, like angle drill attachment The light on the drills is very useful. The batteries have never run out in the middle of a job and the 20 volt provides all the power needed. My use is residential, but I do use them to repair items on my rental house. The bag is great, very durable and holds all the tools and extras easily. I plan on buying this for my son who just purchase his first house I have an 18 volt drill and the 20 volt is hands down much better. Worth spending the extra money on.

used for a year and still very happy
As a weekend warrior: I have used the reciprocating saw constantly from sawing PVC, old wood, invasive bushes in yard with two inch thick branches and old rusty wire fencing intertwined in ivy. A battery will last a solid 20 minutes not letting off trigger in the reciprocating saw when sawing bushes down. The led light lasts a solid 10 hours turned on, bright enough to light up a basement when power is out, the hammer drill manages to drill a small hole in plaster/cinderblock but best for 1" holes in old wood beams and driving screws as it barely makes a dent in battery through course of day. The impact driver and circular saw I haven't had a need to use like others which are nearly 10 hours a week but they are nice for when needed. I recommend this if you are coming from no tools like me/wired ones/cheap ones. The 20-v max is an excellent replacement for them as normal medium use for an 8-10 hour project will not need charges until end of day. Keep in mind extremely heavy use will need a few recharges during work day for the two saws. I kept my high amp wired dewalt hammer drill as that is best for drilling through masonry as it takes seconds. The cordless hammer drill in this takes too long and dulls the bits on concrete as it can only manage plaster walls with ease. Only down point in use I found is having to rotate the two batteries between tools. The two blade fitting ways for this cheaper version of the reciprocating saw hasn't bothered me in use. I know the separate more expensive model is a four way to put the blade. By the way, batteries take about 30 minutes to fully charge so if you constantly saw non stop you may want additional batteries/chargers to prevent idle wait time.

All around great toolset
Bought this set about a year ago now and use the tool set just about every day. The work light, and drill have been used the most. The reciprocating saw and circular saw next and all have performed very well. Have used them on multiple projects around the house and love the case keeps tools in one handy place and makes them so much easier to carry.

Good value for the money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this combo about a year ago. It's really handy to have both drills - one to pre-drill and one to insert the screws. The circular saw has surprised me with what it easily rips. I built a firewood shed and it was nice to be cordless. It does seem to bind on sheets of wood, but that could be operator error.
I thought I'd use the reciprocating saw more, but it doesn't work that great for tree branches.

great, for the most part.
I bought this while looking at price tags over durability. That being said, the tools themselves have performed well, down side being they are brushed motors, which tend to wear out with extensive use.
The drill still works, but it's performance has decreased.
The circular saw still performs like new, but it still has the original blade... so yea not much use on it.
The reciprocating saw works great, and as such I have purchased one for my father, and one for my sister.
The flashlight is probably the most durable of the kit, has been submerged in a pond, in a river, frozen in the snow, dropped from several rooftops, and almost everything in between, probably the only thing that hasn't happened is been run over. Yet it works and is still used now.
The impact driver wore out already, however I purchased a brushes impact driver to replace it.
