L'ensemble de poteau d'extrémité de 8 pieds HOFT est conçu spécialement pour la réalisation de clôtures enterrées. Il comprend 1 poteau d'extrémité en aluminium peint par poudrage noir, 1 capuchon, 1 support de rail, 11 espaceurs, 1 support de section et tout le matériel et les instructions nécessaires à la conception. Pour une stabilité totale, assurez-vous d'avoir une base en ciment de 2 pieds ainsi qu'une clôture d'une hauteur de 6 pieds. Complétez votre clôture enterrée avec des panneaux de bois ou des planches en composite HOFT de 5/4 po (articles vendus séparément).

What is the maximum width of the cedar or composite boards placed between 2 end posts in the ground?
Hi Randy53 and thanks for reaching out. When using any 5/4th wood board, the maximum span between posts is 6 feet. When using any 1’’ composite board, the maximum span between posts is 5 feet to avoid warping over time. Thank you and please have a wonderful day. HOFT Team.

What would be the best way to anchor these posts in soil without using concrete? Also can these be cut? I’m looking to build a 5 foot tall by 8 feet wide fence.
Hi surfsnowskate and thanks for reaching out. Concrete must be used, because no fence can hold up long term in the ground without concrete. All our HOFT Posts can be cut to your desired height, but please be sure when cutting HOFT posts to your desired length, to only use a circular or miter saw with a carbide blade.
IMPORTANT NOTE: HOFT Posts have threaded screw tubes, to attach the base plate, at one post end only; be sure to cut the top end of the post (an ‘’arrow’’ sticker indicates the bottom end), so the anchor plate can be easily screwed to the post afterwards. Do I need to purchase anything additional to install in ground (grass)? Or does everything come with the kit included?
Hi,
Thank you for your question regarding the installation of our 96'' post into the ground. The things you will need to buy are the wood or composite and the concrete, you won't need anything else. Here's how you can install these post in case you need it, you must dig a 9'' diameter x 36''hole x 48''deep, pour concrete into it and then slide the post into the concrete when it is still liquid. The post needs to be approximately 22 "in concrete and 74" above ground to make a 6 "high fence. Hope you will have great success with your project! HOFT Team!
